RNC Chairman Priebus likens Obama to Italian cruise ship captain

Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee chairman, called President Obama a “Captain Schettino” for going on the campaign trail. “We’re going to talk about our own little Captain Schettino, which is President Obama who’s abandoning the ship here in the United States and is more interested in campaigning than doing his job as president,” Priebus said on CBS’s Face The Nation. Francesco Schettino was the captain of the Costa Concordia, the cruise ship that partially sank off the coast of Italy earlier this month. Schettino allegedly abandoned ship and has been arrested on multiple charges.

Priebus also called Romney "a man of integrity" so he can go straight to hell with his stupid metaphor that applies more to his own party leadership than to the Democrats, because at least the Democrats nominate Democrats.

We, on the other hand, are on our way to nominating the very man whose only accomplishment as a failed single-term governor was a botch of policy functionally identical to ObamaCare, viz. RomneyCare, with all its new rules, its new taxes, its exchanges, its mandates, and its assumptions about the use of state power to supervise private economic activity in support of progressive goals.

It was so funny!!! Old Bob Scheifer got a horrified look on his face because he didn't get it at all but seemed to instinctively think that something awful and horrible had been said by that awful and horrible Republican Chairman!!!

You could almost hear the IFB in his ear squawking as the director tried to make the comment clear. Finally Scheifer understood and proceded to ask Priebus what made him say "such a thing." Priebus said it was because of the ship he had seen on Scheifer's backdrop on the screen.
