SF is the most intolerant city I have ever been in when it comes to tolerating other people’s ideas and beliefs.
Within ten years. These cities will be boasting that they are “Church Free”.
‘Tolerant,’ which is left-wing codespeak for being willing to accept a rigid code of pontificated cult leftist ideals without question, or get the jackboot to the teeth.
These cities are “tolerant”, if by tolerant you mean that people should all look completely different but think exactly the same way.
Leftism always wants “tolerance” of EVIL. As a society-—tolerance of evil will destroy the civil society. In CA they are allowing the government schools to destroy the innocence and sexual identity formation of children by indoctrinating them to think something so intrinsically evil-—as sodomy—is a “right” and “good”. It is creating the Afghani worldview-—where sex is meaningless and just for recreation and women are cattle. Sodomy is their recreation and the little boys-—in harems—want to grow up with the great aspirations of sodomizing boys.
Yes, Sex Ed is the easiest way to destroy morality in young children. The focus on the body parts without emotional ability to understand sex-—reduces it to an animal act. It makes young kids hostile and make fun of the opposite sex because they are “differnent”-—kids hate to be different-—and it puts disgusting ideas into their heads——which would never be there unless some pervert was molesting their bodies or minds.
Sex Ed is child abuse and will confuse children-—put their focus on sex organs during latency when it would never be thought about unless the children were being abused. Innocence is crucial to normal sex identity formation. (Not kidding, people).
It is to normalize promiscuity—make govt. agencies necessary-—meaninglessness in sex—(more profits for govt. agencies)-—to destroy the natural family (more profits for govt unions) and all biological relationships destroyed (Marxism).
Destroying the innocence of childhood destroys the emotional health of children. Govt. wants addicts, dysfunctional people, weak people unable to form long lasting relationships-—they want to stay relevant to society. Healthy societies need little government.

A couple years back our megachurch’s pastor, a white guy who specifically keeps his focus on the Bible and avoids getting into anything political like the plague—but doesn’t shy away from calling sin sin—got invited to speak to the Durham City Council at their MLK Day breakfast. He got the invite because our church does a massive amount of charity work in and around the entire Triangle, specifically Durham. Well, you would’ve thought they’d invited Adolf Hitler to speak. The local lefties went NUTS. This is a man of God who’s never had a whiff of scandal about him, welcomes all races and all backgrounds to his church, and never preaches politics AT ALL...but because he was white, and because he *personally* believes that homosexuality is a sin against God and marriage is between one man and one woman, he came within an eyeblink of being disinvited. THAT is Durham’s vaunted “tolerance.”
Durham is the unholy marriage of a black racist Democratic power structure who’s bound and determined to “get back” what they think the white man has taken from them, with a huge influx of liberal white academics who see a city of 220,000 people as a perfect Petri dish for their failed socialist policies. We ain’t exactly Beserkley, but it’s not for lack of trying, believe me.
This place is a crime-ridden craphole with horrible schools, high taxes, and terrible, intrusive government. But as long as it’s “tolerant,” I guess none of that matters.

The same can be said about Seattle. It is tolerant towards ethnic minorities, and alternative lifestyles. But, support Christianity, deny global warming or dare to favor school choice and you will experience immediate and in your face retribution.
