Received word today that our son, Robert, will be leaving Afghanistan early in January instead of sometime in April. He will redeploy to his home duty station, where he will need to reestablish housing for his family who are currently in Florida. After obtaining housing for his wife and three sons, they will come home to California for an extended visit. This was the best Christmas present we received this year.

Thank you to all who provided prayers for our son while deployed. Please continue prayers for him as he awaits his departure date. Please continue with prayers for the soldiers who are remaining in Afghanistan.

world...and so thankful that Robert is getting to come home
early! That is, indeed, a perfect Christmas gift! :) Enjoy!
