Dear Friends,

As we progress through the Yuletide season, I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and driving.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had too many beers and sips of a rather nice bourbon. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home.

I arrived at the house safely and without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and I am not sure where I got this one.

Happy New Year…be safe!

Hey SoldierDad. We though Evan was going to get home early also, but they revised his date the other direction. Hoping he gets out as early as his original departure date. His 5-month old son would probably like to get acquainted with the old man.

I’m sorry to hear his departure has been delayed. I understand about his wanting to get to know his son. Robert and his wife had their third son in July, and he was only able to spend around 12 days with him shortly after his birth. Landon is now 5 months old also. The twins are nealy two years old.
