New York Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez admitted she did not know what Operation Fast and Furious was at a Congressional Hispanic Caucus event on Tuesday.
When The Daily Caller asked Velazquez if she thinks Fast and Furious was a scandal that rises to the level of a call for Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation, she shrugged at first. Then, TheDC asked if she even knew what Fast and Furious was.
“No, no,” Velazquez replied.

I was an adult during the Watergate years. I can remember clearly all three network news shows would begin with a Watergate story nightly.
They were relentless in the goal of removing Nixon from office.
Watergate was a Sunday School picnic compared to what this administration is doing (the least of which was Fast and Furious). What do we hear from the main stream press? Very little, why? Simple, Obama is their man. He can do no wrong in their eyes and if he does make a mistake, well all is forgiven.
When the history of our Republic is written, good part of the blame for the fall will be assigned to “the press”, those that were given special constitutional power to act as the last watchdog only to be turned into lapdogs of the left.
I bet you’d get the same response if she was asked what her opinion was of Article I Section 1 of the Constitution.
Velazquez, either you are an idoit or braindead, or maybe both. You should look on the internet to see what is going on. I sucept that you don’t care about it, because you are a supporter of the WH Marxist.
There are many more back-bencher, uninformed morons in Congress. What a sad situation for our country.

Sounds like she is STUCK ON STUPID.
If I'm not mistaken, Holder has so far prevented the House from publicly questioning any of his staffers. Holder lied in his letter to Congress and refused to release emails between himself and his Chief of Staff regarding F&F. Oh, and he also refused to release emails over a two month period regarding Kagan’s comments on Obamacare.
If Holder gets away with gaffing off Congress, it will mark the formal end of Constitutional government. Along with Obamacare, it will mean the President can enact, execute, and judge whatever he determines the law to be.
I believe it.
The average person gets his/her news from Yahoo, Google, AOL, TMZ, etc.
They all have no clue about Fast and Furious, Solyndra, Obama’s gaffes, MF Global, etc. Everything is hush hush. Only when a Republican screws up do they report political news.
Most democrats are like this. Painfully uninformed, inept, and duped.

It seems to me, in hindsight, that the media were flexing their muscles to see just how much power they had. It turned out that they had enough power to remove a sitting president. Watergate was a media coup.
Several Democrat presidents, including Roosevelt, Kennedy, and Johnson, had done much worse, and had never been called on it.
