Disagree completely. To be saddled with an establishment candidate becuase we were made to cringe in fear about what the MSM is going to lie about next is a serious mistake. There has not been even a whiff of proof in any of the accusations against Cain. He needs to fight back and it would help us all if so called conservatives did not aide the MSM slime simply because he is not their candidate. What is happening to Cain now is what will happen to whomever the GOP selects to run against Obama. Whomever your candidate is you should be shouting to the rooftops that this is a leftist hit job and we cannot allow it to happen. If Cain loses on policy that is one thing but to be drummed out with lies is unacceptable.

He also stated this woman abused this. Unless she can provide proof of this alleged affair she is untrustworthy.

This is not sage, sound, wise or competent political advice. In this election cycle, one does not set a precedent that says infidelity, alleged or real, is a disqualifer.

That's true if you're a democrat. I hold my candidates to a higher standard.

OK, sage and sound— WHY?

And for whom does this— “it’s really a distraction, despite the fact it is wholly created by sleazy guttersnipes looking to make a buck, and introduced to the world by political operatives of who knows whose campaign or interests”— serve a positive purpose.

Respectfully, y’all do understand that Leon Panetta and pals could be behind this, using Soros money. I mean this is Valerie Plame all over again. And now we have the “new” Colin Powell to carry water for them. Much as I like Allen West— is it not entirely possible he is “owned” by certain elements?

Where are the true conservatives— or are they under the bus for the “realpolitik” operatives of the parliament of whores?

My tagline is my politics. We should not enable tyrants of the left or right. Deo Vindice.

Right, they are now up to 5 and counting, there is no possible way Cain had anything to do with it. It's all an evil plot against the purest, most righteous politician in history.

(Since Palin quit of course.)

Rep. Allen West, member of Congressional Black Caucus has already shown what a useful idiot he is. Herman Cain and his supporters would do well to ignore a man like West that says one thing and does another.

And judging from this comment one could conclude that you're a useless idiot.

I love Allen West!!! would like to see Newt as president, Cain as chairman of the Federal Reserve; Bolton as Sec of Defense; Perry be given a cabinet position and OBAMA appointed as Ambassador to Central Africa:)) would not mind a Newt/West ticket.

We should be asking why Herman Cain is attracted to this type of woman. Often men who are overly controlled at home by a domineering partner are drawn into these situations so they can be “knights in shining armor” for “damsels in distress.”

Sort of like Herman’s illusions that with his meager intellectual equipment and lack of governing experience, he can rush in as America’s Saviour at the Eleventh Hour.

The guy is as kooky as they come.

Well said.

Note to those wishing Cain to drop out... Your candidate is next.

Obama wins by clearing the field.

. . . as one of the ex-girlfriends said. Cain would be perfectly happy to bog the whole thing down as long as the spotlight is on him.

Oh, you mean those so-called ex-girlfriends who have no fargin credibility at all? Those ex-girlfriends?

I think Cain should stay in. The only way to end the smear jobs and MSM/RINO destruction train is to stick it out and fight on. It ain’t over till it’s over.I agree.

This latest hatchet job stinks to high heaven to me. A lot of people have rushed to judgment on very few facts.

Mr. West has no business telling anybody to "move on". To do so now, is to accept the narrative that this apparently ungrateful woman laid out there, without any real corroboration. Too bad many people on this board have fallen in the same trap.

I fthe opposition can take potential nominees out on such flimsy narratives, they will be emboldened and will do the same to all of them.

The Dems know they need that 95% black vote to win next year--it is an important client group of theirs. Cain represents a threat to that group of votes, so it can readily be seen why they would want to take Cain out.

BTW, anyone hear anymore from Ms. Allred and her-client-of-the week?

We should not enable the Tony Sopranos of the world, either, who cast their wives aside when they get bored, and seek out dangerous affairs with questionable partners.

Oh now a quote from a proven libeler/stalker/slanderer

Call her all the vile names you want...Cain himself said she was his very good friend. Maybe he needs a better class of friends?

So we're supposed to disqualify Cain for what, in some people's imagination, looks like a possible extra-marital affair, to support Newt, a confirmed serial adulterer?

Obama wins by clearing the field.

He has a history of doing exactly that. The POS wants to make the campaign about destroying his opponent's character, not about how he has destroyed America's economy and social fabric.

Correction: He and Mrs. Cain gave money to that woman because she gave them her sob story. All of these bimbos are being paid to sully an extraordinarily fine man.

And in so doing they all give our gender a bad name!

I agree, Dan. Typical serial womanizer, and now that he’s too old for that, he needs another ego-booster, like running for President.

I’ve sat back for awhile and given him the benefit of the doubt, but now, in my book, he’s toast.

He should just go home and try to mend fences with his wife and daughters, and try to live out his old age in dignity and peace.
