If Mitt Romney is the nominee I will not vote for him I will instead burn my ballot in the polling place as a message to the Republican party elites (the party has no honest leadership) that if they want my vote put forth candidates better than a feces smeared piece of toilet tissue.

And do so in a honest above board manner. If the GOP refuses to get with the program they will become as relevant to American politics as the Whig party.

I know that, I was just making a strong point that even if Palin would be on that ticket I wouldn’t vote for Romney.

Ya, I see what you mean, but in all honestly my guess is Romney is truly squeaky clean, and that’s to his credit.

"Not if we can buck the Establishment."

Yeah; right.

In the Primaries, you can vote for a Conservative, but you are voting opposite those who have garnered their opinions from State-Run-Media:

Herman Cain: "womanizer"

Newt Gingrich: "womanizer"

Rick Perry: "screw-up"

Ron Paul: "Nutcase"

Michelle Bachmann: "Mother of 23 with Extremist Agenda and no support"

Mitt Romney: "Golden Boy...Great Hair....SUPER Governor....Unifier......Moderate/non-Extremist"

The Winner has been CHOSEN ALREADY

Newt Gingrich: "womanizer"

He is. Or was.

The Winner has been CHOSEN ALREADY

That's what my wife sez. We still have a say in the primaries. but you are voting opposite those who have garnered their opinions from State-Run-Media

That may be true, but that does not make it my responsibility to educate those whose opinions are so garnered.

Sometimes they are like dinosaurs. They have small brains and refuse to learn.

My friend is currently writing an article for the conservative press and I am helping in the research..(watch FreeRepublic for the article) Please be honest. How many of you who say you will definitely NOT vote for Romney, are doing so because you hate his religion, Mormonism. The focus of the upcoming article is that many conservatives hate Mormonism and are using other arguments (flip-flopper, establishment, not a true conservative) to avoid the appearance of religious bigotry. Please be frank, do any of you think this is accurate?

...my guess is Romney is truly squeaky clean...

I wish. He's a politician. He's a Media darling.
Would the media as we know them support a truly honest Republican candidate? I doubt it.
If I had to believe a career politician is either squeaky clean or secretly a yeti, I'd lean towards the yeti.

I agree, Mo. United Soviet States of America here we come. If I don’t have a stroke or heart attack due to MSM / Politician induced stress, I’m likely to be tending a veggie garden 7,500 miles away come this time next year. That is if I’m not in jail.

flip-flopper, establishment, not a true conservative

That's enough for me.
Are you going to play the bigotry card here on FR too now?
No matter how many valid arguments we have, it all comes down to "You don't like X because he's a <fill in the blank>".
Enough of that crap. Please.

Perfect, no, but which one of them even comes close to that?

I am serious about this. Bachmann and Santorum are both perfect. I would bet a million dollars that they have ZERO scandal in their backgrounds. Sure some may thing both are a bit boring but boring could be a good thing.

If Romney gets the nomination, Obama will win again. Far too many Americans know that Obama’s hands are pretty much tied...for anything the requires the approval of congress. But, it commie Romney gets in he’ll have participation of the Republicans and enough of the Dems to get a LOT done...a lot of “liberal fascist policy” done. Just like he did in Mass...they loved him in the most liberal state of the union for a reason...and it ain’t no red-blooded American reason either. Americans see this and will not vote for Romney...I know I nor my family will. There is only two reasons one would vote for Romney...stupidity or desire to destroy America’s sovereignty.

Unacceptable.

If they plan to force Romney on us, they should expect there to be a new political party.

I think the liberals know without doubt IMHO that Gingrich is the most formidable opponent for Obama. Newt would humiliate Obama in a debate. How much can a token Harvard alum, political rookie, as Rush once said, compete with a man with Newt’s accomplishments, experience and thorough grasp of history. Not to mention Obama’s staggering ties to known terrorists and hate-America communists.

No his religion is not the reason I will never vote for Mit. It’s romneycare and his other liberal leanings. I’m also not so sure he’s even a good businessman. Not qualified IMO.

Without ballots to count one by one a vote is more easily rigged.

And when it’s digits, it’s just about anyone’s guess.
