SEPTEMBER 12, 2009 - FREEDOM calls and The People respond. The People march on Washington, D.C. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the pics of the crowd who marched on that day was telling to all. Its impact cannot be underestimated, although many will try. Thanks to those Americans who took time off, found the money and time to do their part and the many more at home in support. Just awesome.

11/1/09 Enjoy the fall. The neighborhood oaks are brilliantly colored. The leaves twist on their downward spiral, down, down they come, red, oranges, yellows and browns, a mix that appears delicious, at some point giving way to bare trunks and limbs awaiting the harshness of winter. It is November now, yet the grass is still green reminding us of the record rains. The red-colored knockout rosebush still framing the window sill is a testament to the, as yet, frostless season. I can't imagine a better time to stop and smell the roses, take in all the wonder and beauty of nature. Enjoy today, make it special.p>
