All the cops at the donut shop, O-Hi-O, Walk like an Egyptian.

For some reason the 1986 Bangles song "Walk Like an Egyptian" comes to mind, especially the line of "all the cops at the donut shop".

The union thugs used public service fear to win, while all the rest of us see the union cop cars at the donut shops, protected by the likes of Richard Trumpka.

Lest all remember the union New Orleans cops who abandoned their duty during Hurricane Katrina.

If the Republicans had any nads, they would use a cut of that song, to show the corruptness of the public unions.

If you are going to reference The Bangles, at least have the common courtesy to post a pic of Susanna Hoffs

Many of the New Orleans cops certainly failed in their duty. But the initial reports that many police officers were missing, and apparently had left town, proved to be mostly untrue.

Instead, it turned out that there were a lot of cops listed on the payroll who didn’t actually exist. The politicians were pocketing the money that was supposedly paying their salaries and benefits.

Not that that says much for politicians or public unions.

I grabbed Susanna Hoffs’ leg at the Warner Theater in DC and was roughed up by a bouncer. They let me stay...that was 1987ish...The Bangles were a great band IMHO...

My wife's ex husband was Susanna Hoffs room-mate in the early 80’s. And yes she was and is extremely hot.

How did he manage that?

Lots of exercise and cold showers would be my guess.
