Cain: Move ‘Occupy Wall Street’ to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue By Elizabeth Harrington October 7, 2011

(CNSNews.com) - Republican presidential nominee candidate Herman Cain called for the Occupy Wall Street protestors to relocate to the White House, in remarks he made Friday at the Family Research Council’s annual Values Voter Summit, in Washington, D.C.

“When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didn’t write these failed economic policies -- the White House did,” said Cain.

He then added, “Why don’t you move the demonstrations to the White House?”

Yes, Cain DID say that he was quoting the Constitution, then followed with "we've got some 'altering and abolishing to do.'"

Didn't catch Cain with the shades though my most favorite R&R artist, Roy Orbison, wore them all of the time - didn't seem to hurt his career, though it was music not politics!

"The 9-9-9 plan would resuscitate this economy because it replaces the outdated tax code that allows politicians to pick winners and losers, and to provide favors in the form of tax breaks, special exemptions and loopholes.

It simplifies the code dramatically: 9% business flat tax, 9% personal flat tax, 9% sales tax."

~Herman Cain

Except that the 9-9-9 plan allows the government to select “Empowerment Zones” where both individual and business taxes are less than other places. WOO HOO! Every inner city is now an Empowerment Zone!

Comes the moment, comes the man. This guy is simply awesome. He exudes competence. He is a powerful speaker. He is inspiring. I will vote for him in the primary and I hope He gets the nomination. I heard him in an interview on the Mike Rosen show about 12 years ago. I didn’t know who he was but I was impressed. I thought then that I wished we could have someone with his values as President. I don’t think I can bring myself to vote for Mitt Romney. I held my nose and voted for McCain. I will vote for Herman Cain gladly. I hope I get the chance and I can’t wail to see him debate Obama. He’ll chew him up and spit him out.

Caain is correct that government and government pressure on banks to lend for social engineering over underwriting caused more of the harm to our economy than greed. Financial consumers should learn to examine offers and deals to protect themselves. If we have a more free market, there will more choices for consumers. Government is poor at protecting consumers, as poor as it is in running the P.O. or a driver license office.

“When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didn’t write these failed economic policies -- the White House did,” said Cain.

Rush Limbaugh provided an excellent dissertation Friday, on why the left wing media dislikes Cain (too long to repost). Moreover, he explained why Cain does not stand a chance, despite his color.

We need to encourage Cain to hold strong!

Glad Cain told the entire nation what the rest of us our thinking, at least the rest of us who use their brain.

Well said Herman.

These are the kinds of comments I look for when choosing a candidate.

(Now lose the National Sales Tax scheme)

It’s a cute line, but shows an utter misunderstand at what we have. They already occupy the White House. Notice Van Jones? These are communists, anarchists and useful idiots working for the left-wing of the Democrats to pressure and give cover to Obama.
