Cain: Move ‘Occupy Wall Street’ to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue By Elizabeth Harrington October 7, 2011

(CNSNews.com) - Republican presidential nominee candidate Herman Cain called for the Occupy Wall Street protestors to relocate to the White House, in remarks he made Friday at the Family Research Council’s annual Values Voter Summit, in Washington, D.C.

“When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didn’t write these failed economic policies -- the White House did,” said Cain.

He then added, “Why don’t you move the demonstrations to the White House?”

Hey, when I saw the guy leaned up against the NYC cop car taking a dump I thought to myself "Hey, why not right through the White House gates"?

(NOTE: I know better actually, but why are the demonstrators down there where the problem is)

And then when they need to use a bathroom, they can just go to the White House just like they are using McDonald’s and other businesses facilities around Wall Street.

The Congress bears a heavier burden of the blame for economic policies than the President. It is Congress that sets, or doesn't, a Federal budget. It is Congress that has been passing omnibus spending bills. It is Congress that, with the exception of a few members, worshiped the ground that Greenspan and Bernake walked on. Congress passes bank regulatory laws that do nothing to regulate corruption and everything to increase the burdens on those applying for loans.

I would suggest occupying Capitol Hill, but that would be irresponsible. The Capitol Police would have kittens. We will have to settle for “occupying” Congress the old fashioned way- through elections.

"“You can demonstrate all you want to on Wall Street.

The problem is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."

“When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didn’t write these failed economic policies -- the White House did,” said Cain.

My thought exactly. The politicians in D.C. bailed them out. Politicians like Barry, Rimshot Joe, Nancy Pelosi and Dingy Harry. If these morons had any sense or even the slightest grip on reality, they'd be camping, eating pizza and singing Beatle songs in Washington D.C. (or outside GM and GE corporate offices). These college types aren't very bright. IMHO.

I really responded to his quote when discussing the part of the Constitution that grants the people the “right to alter and abolish their government,” Cain said, “we’ve got some ‘altering and abolishing’ to do!” Standing O’s all over!!!

Awesome. This is exactly what my vanity yesterday (This "occupy" nonsense: where are the republicans?) was calling for.

Well done Cain.

Cain would not only defeat Obama electorally, but also the race-laden hopenchangery meme (thread)

the Constitution that grants the people the “right to alter and abolish their government,”

that's actually in the declaration but the point is well taken.

Someone needs to tell Cain to ditch the sunglasses
