And then when they need to use a bathroom, they can just go to the White House just like they are using McDonald’s and other businesses facilities around Wall Street.

The Congress bears a heavier burden of the blame for economic policies than the President. It is Congress that sets, or doesn't, a Federal budget. It is Congress that has been passing omnibus spending bills. It is Congress that, with the exception of a few members, worshiped the ground that Greenspan and Bernake walked on. Congress passes bank regulatory laws that do nothing to regulate corruption and everything to increase the burdens on those applying for loans.
I would suggest occupying Capitol Hill, but that would be irresponsible. The Capitol Police would have kittens. We will have to settle for “occupying” Congress the old fashioned way- through elections.

When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didnt write these failed economic policies -- the White House did, said Cain. My thought exactly. The politicians in D.C. bailed them out. Politicians like Barry, Rimshot Joe, Nancy Pelosi and Dingy Harry. If these morons had any sense or even the slightest grip on reality, they'd be camping, eating pizza and singing Beatle songs in Washington D.C. (or outside GM and GE corporate offices). These college types aren't very bright. IMHO.

I really responded to his quote when discussing the part of the Constitution that grants the people the “right to alter and abolish their government,” Cain said, “we’ve got some ‘altering and abolishing’ to do!” Standing O’s all over!!!

Comes the moment, comes the man. This guy is simply awesome. He exudes competence. He is a powerful speaker. He is inspiring. I will vote for him in the primary and I hope He gets the nomination. I heard him in an interview on the Mike Rosen show about 12 years ago. I didn’t know who he was but I was impressed. I thought then that I wished we could have someone with his values as President. I don’t think I can bring myself to vote for Mitt Romney. I held my nose and voted for McCain. I will vote for Herman Cain gladly. I hope I get the chance and I can’t wail to see him debate Obama. He’ll chew him up and spit him out.

Caain is correct that government and government pressure on banks to lend for social engineering over underwriting caused more of the harm to our economy than greed. Financial consumers should learn to examine offers and deals to protect themselves. If we have a more free market, there will more choices for consumers. Government is poor at protecting consumers, as poor as it is in running the P.O. or a driver license office.
