Why Hasn't Sarah Palin Followed Up on Her Crony Capitalism Claim Against Rick Perry?

Posted on 09/14/2011 6:46:47 PM PDT by Carling

Curious. It's been two entire days now, and I haven't seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.

She says she’s a Dr.! Of “American Exceptionalism” on one past thread if I remember correctly.

Refuses to prove it since I’m a ‘stalker’ and ‘deranged’ or some such.

Read her posting history and BE AMAZED! She really admires Windy too ;)

Gore was a pro abortion liberal starting in 1984. Gore was liberal before that minus his circa 1984 pro death position.

I can't imagine a real conservative making the opposite argument. But we have some here that do.

Those that know Texas politics make the arguement. We lived it.

Gore was from Tennesee, not Texas. Gore's votes are public record. Gore's votes were on national issues that effected us all.

We all lived it.

Algore was a pro baby killing flaming Marxist.

I can't believe I'm having this disagreement on FR.

She just destroyed Obama over Solyndra and GE as major crony capitalism.

Pissant, peace be upon him, said that Rick Perry was Mitt Romney in cowboy boots.

You are a pretentious one, Norm, I’ll give you that. I know I’m supposed to be asking what kind of education you had and where you went to school and all that good stuff, but I don’t care. I didn’t get where I am today by being pretentious. I’m a Texas girl, and though I am an educator, I entered the field late and had the good sense to value my upbringing. I knew I was entering a liberal field and took special care to maintain my roots. And I’m really not sorry that that bugs the hell out of you. I am, however, very sorry you feel such an intense need to “compensate,” especially when your efforts have never managed to injure me, bringing me down while elevating yourself. : (

Trust me FR, Spend a couple posts arguing with her and you end up in a parallel universe where ANYTHING can and did happen - as long as it suit the need at the time.

You get used to the ‘logic’ ;)

>>> So, Greta is playing clips from the debate, and directly asking Governor Palin about Bachmann’s response to Perry, and you think that Palin should have abruptly changed the subject to Solyndra? <<<

An astute conservative would have reacted the same as Rush reacted. Sarah could have stopped with her self congratulatons for the candidates discussing her coined issue—crony capitalism. She instead jumped the Bachman shark when she elected to go further and insinuated corruption by her remark, “ I knew there was something to this... “, which was a lob at one of the two guys in the lead! She lobbed at the more conservative one. She will not be bringing this up again any time soon given the crash and burn reaction to the whole idea. Done with that corruption trail.

He wasn't pro-life as a senator in the three years I quoted, 86, 87, 88. Those are ratings off the ACU website I gave.

He was more conservative when he was a congresscritter, but knew he could not advance in the party unless he tacked hard left, he did, and it was long before Perry endorsed him. Please get your facts straight.

Not really. He was pro life back then. But as I said, you don’t want to know the truth. You’re here to trash, so go ahead. When you’re ready to know the truth, send me an email and I’ll set you straight.

Algore's voting record starting in 1984 was pro baby killing. All one has to do is go to the ACU website and look for Algore's votes on abortion.

I'm sure there are many other ways to confirm it too.

Yet you accuse the posting of not being "ready to know the truth".

That's really poor form, lady.

Dr. D, you injured yourself. I merely used your own words against you. Thus any injury is self inflicted.

Please, try to keep up.

Do you really expect him to have 100% support in Texas? He’s been elected for TEN YEARS. What more do you need?

Oh, wait. I just realized you're not remotely interested in the truth...just tearing down Rick Perry in order to elevate........Sarah Palin and Ron Paul?

Nice.

No, I expect a Republican to tell the truth, not lie about Al Gore. Or support illegals. Or do the TTC deal, Toll road stupidity, Overthrowing parental rights or a number of other things.

He has much to explain D, and believe it or not, care or not, I AM willing to hear. But you Perry supporters sticking your heads in the sand over these issues does not make them go away.

When he wants to talk, I want to listen. I may never support him, but I will listen. However if he keeps ducking and lying and you keep supporting that, it speaks poorly for all of you.

You’re not owning up to the fact the Gore was a flaming lib when Perry supported him in 1988. He was, I’ve told you where I got my facts, now explain how they are wrong, and do so quickly if you can please, it’s late. Gore was a flaming lib, he was not conservative and had not been for years.

Correction: Should be 1985, not 1984.

Well, lack of funds means lack of support. That’s what it all boils down to. She has no support past the Tea Party, and frankly, she really doesn’t have all the Tea Party behind her since her recent showings. She can, of course, use her own money, but it’s a drop in the bucket. She doesn’t have the support to launch a bid. And once she’s officially not running, her teams of supporters have to find a new candidate and will take their time and money to a real candidate.
