Curious. It's been two entire days now, and I haven't seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.

You see D, I remember you being uncomfortable proving your creds, so I feel I must likewise do the same until such time as you fess up. I too appreciate Santorum, but appreciate even more a general election winner. Santorum will never be that. This is war and indulging in losers is a waste and zero sum game. The nation is not interested in Romney’s four year record, but for the debacle of Mass. health care which he will not apologize for. Perry had no name recognition to speak of, but for his Texas record he has sky rocketed past Romney. Rick has the record and the entire field wants it and can’t have it. He owns the debate on record.
He ain't the sharpest tool in the shed by no means.

You're missing the point. Someone's going to make hay out of the fact that he really got $30,000 from Merck - not $5,000. He's going to have to deal with it, and it's going to keep the turbulence going over this issue.

Michelle Bachman named that figure. He responded, using her figure, $5000.00. In a haul of 30 million, he was belittling her implication that he was “bought” for a lousy five grand. It was really very clever, thoroughly Texas, and by some, utterly misunderstood. :)
