Not sure.

It isn’t out of the box to say that NATO will side with Turkey. Israel isn’t well thought of by most of NATO.

The interesting thing to ponder is that would open up Russia to move against Turkey.

Remember though that the sons of Magog and Gog are often considered the Celts.

Gomer is usually the germanic peoples.

I've studied Eschatology for over 30 years and have never heard that the Celts are considered Gog and Magog. I've heard some who have considered Gomer to be the Germanic tribes, but frankly I think that's incorrect. Where did you get the idea that the Celts are Gog and Magog?

—I also do not expect the Gog/Magog war to kick off immediately after the Psalm 83 war. I’m not sure how long of a period of time is between the Psalm 83 war and the Magog War, but whatever happens in the aftermath of the Psalm 83 war, it will cause Israel to think that they’re finally safe.—

How does 3.5 years sound?

I don't know if it will be 3.5 years or some other amount, as I don't know if there's a period of time between the end of the Psalm 83 war and the beginning of the Tribulation. I do, however, think that we're very, very, very close to finding out for certain. This month is turning out to be very interesting, especially with the UN vote on a Palestinian State set for September 20th.

Gog and Magog were big in Celtic mythology, and there are many who consider the Celts the sons of one of or the other (remember, Magog was a son of Japheth). A friend of mine from Ireland first told me that the Celtic people were from the tribe of Magog, and there is some

We in the US often think of such things as “Places” when the ancients would see them as “People”.

Thanks markomalley.
The "Arab Spring" looks to be followed by an Islamist winter, and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan wants to be Old Man Winter. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has even gone so far as to warn Erdogan not to muscle in on their action.
