Barack Obama inauguration: this Emperor has no clothes, it will all end in tears (Prophecy)
The Telegraph ^ | JANUARY 20, 2009 | Gerald Warner

Posted on 08/26/2011 1:22:15 PM PDT by mojito

This will end in tears. The Obama hysteria is not merely embarrassing to witness, it is itself contributory to the scale of the disaster that is coming. What we are experiencing, in the deepening days of a global depression, is the desperate suspension of disbelief by people of intelligence – la trahison des clercs – in a pathetic effort to hypnotise themselves into the delusion that it will be all right on the night. It will not be all right.

[....]

It is crucial to recall the reality that lies behind the rhetoric. Denouncing “those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents” comes ill from a man whose flagship legislation, the Freedom of Choice Act, will impose abortion, including partial-birth abortion, on every state in the Union. It seems the era of Hope is to be inaugurated with a slaughter of the innocents.

Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan is like one of those toxic packages traded by bankers: it camouflages many unaffordable gifts to his client state. With a federal deficit already at $1.2 trillion, Obama wants to squander $825 billion (which will undoubtedly mushroom to more than $1 trillion) on creating 600,000 more government jobs and a further 459,000 in “green energy” (useless wind turbines and other Heath-Robinson contraptions favoured by Beltway environmentalists).

[....]

It is questionable whether the present political system can survive the coming crisis. Whatever the solution, teenage swooning sentimentality over a celebrity cult has no part in it. The most powerful nation on earth is confronting its worst economic crisis under the leadership of its most extremely liberal politician, who has virtually no experience of federal politics. That is not an opportunity but a catastrophe.

Rush said it as well. Expectations were raised so high and without specificity (everyone imprinted their own expectations on Obama) that it would be near impossible not to disappoint nearly everyone.

Nobody was surprised here at how it all turned out. We tried to warn them!

Yes, and isn’t it still amazing that the only “main stream” media who have done the research, publish the negatives and state what should be obvious are papers in the UK and Germany?

Good post -- I'd never seen it.

Love his last sentence:

These are frank, even ungracious, words: they have the one merit that, unlike almost everything else written today about Obama, they will not require to be eaten in the future.

Brilliant, just brilliant.

Most things are difficult to predict however the Obama Debacle was one of the few that was obvious from the outset. The only question is how big of a price will the country pay for its mistake.

All I remember now about 1/20/09 is that drunken Diane Sawyer slobbering and dripping mascara.

EXCELLENT POINTS.

It is questionable whether the present political system can survive the coming crisis.

THX THX for putting this out there again.

1. No. This present political system will NOT survive the coming crisis.

2. The crisEs are being deliberately created (over a long period), ramped up, intensified . . . to UTTERLY DESTROY this political system and make the Biblically predicted satanic global system all the easier to finish setting up MORE OVERTLY.

3. OThuga is merely one of the moderately key PUBLIC players to wrap the destructiveness and anarchy up--to oversee them from the teleprompter--sufficiently to flood the world overtly with it as an unavoidable series of utter disasters.

4. The Bible is plenty clear for all with eyes to see and ears to hear--that NO previous political system will survive the AntiChrist's rise to power unchanged. All will be wholesale changed by the tyranny and iron-fisted, black booted grip of The Anarchist as THE MESSAGE version labels him.

5. Here we have OThuga prancing about as vivid, lavish, egregious, flaunting, brazen etc. an AntiChrist forerunner as might be imagined. He almost delights in his destructiveness just like the one he's preparing the way for.

6. The deer-in-the-headlights look of the OThuga worshipers is going to be quickly replaced by unmeasurable and unprecedented rage flung about any and all nearby. Just as the designers of this series of crises are planning for and hoping for.

7. Folks just do not realize at deep enough levels it seems . . . the Marxist, globalist oligarchy REALLY DO EXPECT TO SUCCEED AT REDUCING THE WORLD'S POPULATION TO 200 MILLION! They look forward with sadistic genocidal glee toward the massive blood-letting. They REALLY ARE mortals utterly given over to demonic forces from hell. They are AGAINST life, liberty, happiness and the American way TOTALLY. They want nothing left of it standing--least of all the Constitution and the Judeo-Christian substrate.

8. ONLY WHAT'S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST. Other things may be good, worth doing . . . even redemptive for a time for a few or an area. Yet . . . ONLY WHAT'S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST.

You are correct, though I consider CFP similar to the the new electronic media not included with “main stream”.

We are to pray for our leaders.

Pray Psalm 109:Verse 8 regarding our present leader.

Those were Jewish leaders. Alas, we can naively pray for what ever we want in vain. But there comes a time when you mature and realize it's time to knock the dust off your sandals and move on. Rush was 100% spot on when he hoped that Hussein failed. That's a good prayer right there.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!

Though I think his days have already passed few by far too many . . .

and I wonder if God isn’t fed up with the office and the abuse it has visited upon the Christian Church and other innocents in behalf of Marxist globalism.

INDEED.

Perhaps some of David’s prayers for his enemies would fit.
