In South Texas a rancher was forced to hand over his land to an illegal because the rancher frightened the illegal with his gun. By a federal judge.
This was about 10 years ago.

Above and beyond anything else, a U.S. Attorney, in fact any prosecutor, is first and foremost a lawyer.
That’s a lot to overcome. Some manage to do it.

This was all DOJ- and FBI - they gave the FBI orders to buy guns with stimulus money. They set up DEA to intercept calls that led to the FBI informant who bought the guns and walked them. ATF was being used by FBI to track the serial numbers and take a fall if it was ever uncovered.
When ATF tried to stop it they were thwarted by the justice dept.
Remember ATF were the ones who screwed their careers by whistle blowing. If not for ATF Agents we wouldn’t even know about this.

What would happen if someone started a class action lawsuit? We are the society, so we are the victims. Everyone signs up and sues.
