Nearly half of Obama’s $86M traceable to bundlers
Washington Times ^ | 7/17/11 | Luke Rosiak

The campaign fundraising efforts of President Obama raised $86 million in the past three months from 500,000 people — but at least $35 million of it can be traced to just 244 well-connected supporters who collected contributions from wealthy friends. Just 634 donations from people giving $30,000 or more to the Obama Victory Fund comprise $23 million, while the 1,335 donations the fund received from those giving $250 add up to about $336,000, a Washington Times analysis shows. The campaign has branded itself as a new type of political operation and touted its reliance on a grassroots network

Not very stellar. A handful of dopes are the deep pockets here. Where are all the adoring fans pumping in their small money like last time?

...and how many of those bundled contributions are actually conduit contributions?

I thought Obama already had a billion dollar war chest that he’s sitting on.

I’d heard that it was actually Obama and the DNC combined that comes to a billion. But it makes him sound more formidable if they give the Obama-only impression.

One way to cut the deficit: 25% of all political donations should go to US Treasury to reduce the debt.

Politicians started this mess, they should contribute to reduce it.

I'd bet 100% of Obama's donations came from the US Treasury, one way or another.

I detest Obama. I detest liberals. I detest progressives.

Now that I got that out of my system, I have a request to ask.

I recently discovered that a suspected former co-worker of mine made a political contribution IN MY NAME to the liberal progressive America Coming Together PAC back in 2004. This PAC was spanked pretty badly by the FEC for campaign violations in 2005.

How do I remove my name from this fraudulent donation?

The fact that I have Soros taint on me is sickening.

Anybody have any insight into what recourse I have against this?

Thank!

I suggest you start with a visit to the FEC web site to learn the specific rule violations.

Second, have a chat with an atty., bringing your proof along with the FEC citations.

Keep in mind that not only are you being smeared but that your First Amendment rights are being violated in the sense that the bogus contribution counts against the limit to the amounts you may legally contribute.

Finally, if he or she has done this to you, who else might he have done this too. Then there’s the question of the actual money source.

Bottom line I guess is, can you prove the bogus donation was made by this person?

Well when you add in all the ‘gift cards’ from overseas and consider the foreign aid we puke out to every country that wants a billion or 70...yea, it probably did.

It is just union stimulus money coming home to roost.

Democrat politicians and unions have an incestuous relationship and that is why public collective bargaining has to come to an end.

By the end of the summer Obama’s chances for re-election will be recognized as going south quickly and he will find fewer and fewer donors except the small schmucks giving him $50.00.
In 2010 the Democrats realized they couldn’t hold the House so they concentrated their money and effort on a few savable Senate seats. This will happen again next year.

Obama Presidential campaign Part Deux. According to the lib blogs last campaign, they would run extra withdrawals on donors debit/credit cards once they had their card numbers. Soros and possibly someone like Carlos Slim know the system. Buy up millions of dollars worth of reloadable debit cards, hand them out to the peasants to give to the bundlers in denominations under $50. Peasants probably get cash to “donate” the debit cards. Money laundering at its best.

this is why he thinks rich people should pay more tax because they have hundreds of thousands of dollars they don’t “need”

I suggest their first cutbacks be in donations to the marxist in chief

I always check out who runs those obnoxious anti-republican ads. With names like “Americans for freedom” or some innocuous term. In EVERY case, it turns out to be a union-run operation.
