I suggest you start with a visit to the FEC web site to learn the specific rule violations.
Second, have a chat with an atty., bringing your proof along with the FEC citations.
Keep in mind that not only are you being smeared but that your First Amendment rights are being violated in the sense that the bogus contribution counts against the limit to the amounts you may legally contribute.
Finally, if he or she has done this to you, who else might he have done this too. Then there’s the question of the actual money source.
Bottom line I guess is, can you prove the bogus donation was made by this person?
Thanks for your reply. I can’t prove who did it, but I do remember fiercely arguing politics with a liberal progressive assistant manager of mine who supported John Kerry, which is tied up with this liberal PAC. The details of the donation have my job title and area code where I live, suggesting somebody who knew me personally.
The only other alternative is Soros made a donation in my name. The reason the FEC hammered this PAC was for systemic fraud during that time period.
I’ll be filing a complaint with the FEC to see if there is any more information I can find that might reveal the identity of who made a donation in my name.
