In a meeting with a small group of reporters in his Capitol Hill office this morning, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, criticized President Obama and White House officials for their lack of resolve in negotiations.
“Dealing with them the last couple months has been like dealing with Jell-o,” Boehner said. “Some days it’s firmer than others. Sometimes it’s like they’ve left it out over night.”

I agree, but I don’t know what we can do about Hank Paulsen, and the others, now, except to remind people about the kinds of things they do to manipulate us through scare tactics.

Islam is irrational.
Malignant Narcissism is irrational.
Obama is irrational.

I don’t want to argue with you, because we agree on so much. My experience with Malignant Narcissists is that they can’t fully embrace any religion that requires obedience. If, for example, Obama wanted to drink, and Islam forbade it, he would renounce Islam before you could say, ‘Whoa, that was fast’.
Otoh, I do think he loves Islam, identifies with it, hates Christianity, and considers himself far more a Muslim than a Christian. I also think, however, that ultimately he is an atheist. It’s the only belief that satisfies his mental need to be superior to all the peons around him. From his pedestal of supreme atheistic knowledge, he looks down his arrogant, ‘enlightened’ nose on anyone who believes in an ultimate being. That’s my read on it, anyway.
I know the evidence for his being a Muslim is very strong. I just don’t think a Malignant Narcissist can humble himself before any God—even the false ‘god’ of Islam. In Obama’s world, he IS god. That’s how he gets his ultimate superiority jollies, and makes the world align with him, as opposed to aligning with external facts, coupled with a Supreme Being.

And the fact that the IMF is telling the US to raise its debt ceiling must mean that a significant amount of that new debt will go to bailout some foreign socialist hell holes.

Exactly. We have no recourse except to learn about the manipulation and games they pulled and try not to be so tolerant of their stratagems now and in the future, ie, Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football. Surely some day we will all become more wise to their bull and not be continually duped.
