Perry is this years Huckabee. Who did Huckabee hurt in 2008, he helped us stop Romney.

"Who did Huckabee hurt in 2008, he helped us stop Romney."
Fred Thompson, who admittedly didn't run much of a campaign, but was nevertheless picking up steam and still had a snowball's chance going into South Carolina.
If we're going to credit Huckabee for denying the nomination to Mitt, we'd better at least throw in an honorable mention for Giuliani who peeled off enough support from Mitt to keep him from winning New Hampshire and Florida.

Evidently the man I supported, Thompson, couldn’t get it going, after that it became a race to stop Romney.

Well, then. Under your theory (which might be right) the GOP is not going to win the White House, period, because Bachmann loses the middle (as much as I like Bachmann, I have a hard time believing that she could actually become President...it’s a great dream, but a dream I do think) and Perry/Romney lose the base.
In which case, GOP is left to check Obama with the Congress.
You may well be right.
Whether America can survive anotehr 4 years with Obama, even with a GOP Congress, remains to be seen.....Clinton, after all, though checked by the GOP still did considerable to the country during his final four years.

The TTC was not a “scam” it was a very ill advised solution to a major problem. I did not support it. It wasn't a devious plot, just bad idea. It does not exist and Gardisil is not law either.

Thank you.
I just want to run somebody who can win this thing, and I see nothing gained by the character assassination of one of our most promising Conservatives.
The vicious left is perfectly capable of that without our help.
