In 1995 my Dad was weeks just a few weeks away from dying of lung cancer that spread to his bones. There had been lots of chemo and he was practically skin and bones ... hadn't been able to hold down food in days and had reached the point that he had no desire to eat. I got some marijuana for him and he smoked some. Half an hour later he ate and enjoyed a BLT. It was heartbreaking that I had not gotten marijuana for him weeks before.

'Conservative circles' contain folks like me that have been there and aren't going to gripe about medicinal marijuana. Perhaps it is just that we are not as loud as the people who condemn such.
