If Republicans go along with more deficit spending on public employee union projects, maybe it's time to a page out of the Alec Baldwin impeachment book and take up stoning politicians.
It's unsustainable. If a broke government throws money at these projects, they must hire more public employee union workers which means an increase in pension liability and even more obligations that they cannot pay because they don't have the revenue!
We can't pay for the ones we have, we do not need one even more government job. Only a private sector recovery will turn things around.
Adding to the government's overburdened payroll is worse than irrational, it's suicidal.
Insanity? No, this is pure unadulterated stupidity.
Looks like they will be looking for those black top jobs that are already in the works by the Union goons and then they will start the repaving again and make a bunch of new recovery signs, nothing new here but smoke and mirrors.

The Democrat Party is the political equivilent to the family that can’t pay its bills or put food on the table but continue to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets. Thinking, this time we’ll get lucky!

I would argue that their previous “job stimulus” did in fact stimulate jobs, their own political jobs by helping to line the pockets of democrats helping them to hold on to a lot of their house and senate seats even after their treasonous Act of Abomination.
Indeed its lingering “stimulative effects” will no doubt be felt in 2012, as the company’s, unions, and individuals that pocketed all that money send much of it right back into the coffers of the DNC and Democratic canaditits.

Eliminate all capital gains taxes for 3 months on a trial basis and see what happens. The economy would catch fire.
