Pulling together sinful congregations that do weird things is as old as the bible. As Christians would put it, sitting in a church service doesn’t make you a Christian any more than sitting in an oven would make you a cookie or sitting in a garage would make you a car.

Liberal Judaism is nonsense. If you liberalize something enough it ceases to be what it was. Just saying something is Judaism or Christian does not make it so.
