I support the cause of all of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, certainly among them the freedom of religion. I really don’t care what people believe as long as they leave me the right to worship as I please.

I know a lot of Mormons, they would never think of belittling me for my religions beliefs, at least I don’t think so.

I also carry a gun, but I support the rights of those who would rather I didn’t to make their wishes known. I also support the rights of the press to print whatever they think but I don’t like most of what is printed.

I really don’t understand all this Mormon hate here. They are people who may believe differently than me. They are people who believe they are right, don’t we all. Don’t we all want everybody else to believe what we believe and worship the way we worship? I do, but it ain’t gonna happen so I live with it and am glad when someone believes in something that makes them good citizens. As far as I have seen the Mormons are good citizens.

Mischaracterization is a running theme in your posts on this thread. As far as I can see, no one is afraid of a book or books or the movie of same. The essence of my opposition is the underlying theme, and to recognize that theme as it is sourced requires a degree of spiritual discernment. The war is in a spiritual realm not easily accessed by your senses. This realm is real and it is laced with power to build up or destroy the souls of humankind.

If you want a hint as to the nature of this realm, check out Daniel Chpater five, and in fact the entire book of Daniel, for Daniel had accute spiritual discernment and the Book of Daniel does a lot of exposing of this spiritual realm so the human mind can begin to grasp the gravity of the war being waged over human souls.

Vapirism is sourced in demonic fantasies. It plays with spiritual things and leaves the unsuspecting reader/watcher with lingering doubts about the nature of the human soul and spirit andmore seriously doubts about the absolute sovereign Will of God and if That Will can be manipulated by mere mortals.

I'm going to offer to you an analogy, and please remember the analogy is not the point of the offering, what the anaology points to is the essence of the offering.

It would seem that pornography has been around for as long as men have been able to draw on rocks and dirt, and carve figurines. Societal taboos work to suppress pornographic power and sometimes in some societies the taboos use(ed) the pornographic images to empower those in leadership positions, manipulating the beliefs of the people/subjects so as to use the power of sexual desire as a tool to herd the mass of subjects.

The Bible gives us a rather stark and clear roadmap of how to perceive sexual desire and sexual energy. God doesn't ever call sexual desire an evil thing. But God does caution men and women to exercise control over their desires and gives guidelines on how to do that. By following Biblical guidelines, societal taboos help individuals to control their desires (in all things, not just sexual desires).

There is a being whom the Bible says wants desperately to destroy the souls of men and women and gather them into the hell foretold for that being. In our modern era, that being is using sex and pornography as a means to herd the unaware. Seeing this perverting of a natural human desire is the hallmark of what must be discerned spirtiually. The counter to the power such wholesale sexual exploitation applies upon the individual soul/spirit is a simple 'raise up a child in the way that they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.'

Teaching a child what is wholesome and enjoyed with control over desires does wonders to prevent the over-sexualized society from corrupting the young. That is precisely why the source of this over sexualization seeks to remove the raising of children from the parents whom God has tasked for this job. It is also why the perverse in our society demand to be tolerated to the max, allowing them to display any sexual depravity they so wish to use for their opposition to societal taboos.

I trust the anaology is not to difficult for you to grasp. It is as easily applied to the use of alcoholic beverages, but the stark reality of a Jimmy Swaggert would be lost in such an anlogy, because apparently Swaggert could control the desire for a drink, but became so obsessed with sexual desires he knew to be too powerful that he succumbed to the same desires run amok in his consciousness.

One of the clear teachings of the Bible is found in the Biblical taboo against 'familiar spirits', and a preoccupation with the dead and the spirits of the dead. We have whole scenes from Scripture which address the dangers and the inevitable consequences of trespassing this taboo. In order to erode the influence of Biblical taboos, the evil one enlists unaware people to dance at the edges of the taboos, eroding their stark message, until one day the contemplation of vampires, the power they possess (fictionally) and the eternal life they 'enjoy' occupies the thoughts and discussions of people God has warned to not make a place for such in their hearts.

Referring to the analogy, the over-sexualization of an entire society is a reality in the peoples' midst and they are clueless to discern the manipulation of their souls. Some, and in fact most sense an uneasiness when pornography becomes too blatant and pornographers expose the dead souls they possess (Larry Flynt in the news ring any bells for you?). But to discern why this unease occurs is a reach they do not want to make, so they tolerate ever incresing sexual degradation of their society because the protective taboos have been eroded, extensively.

In Mormonism, a lying peepstone false prophet, diviner with a sexual appetite to sate defined the taboo structure of Mormonism and thus individual Mormons. Polygamy and the inherent bad things inevitable with polygamy resulted. An obsession with the dead, baptising in dunkings for lists of dead people is also a hallmark of Mormonism, contradicting clear teaching from the Bible on more than one issue, thus eroding the authority of God's directions by setting them aside to play at an ISM which is sourced in a sexcual degenerate lying peepstone false prophet! Diverting the mind away from the realities defying God is a daily exercise for the evil one. And enlisting unaware people to chastise those with spiritual discernemnt is also a daily activity for the evil one.

And before you get all hot under your collar to chastise me for 'telling it like it is', I could have use the issue of abortion and the devaluing of human life as the analogy, but I sensed through my spirit that you would more quickly catch the sexualization analogy and feel the pricking of your soul thereby.

you know, you had me believing that you were a rational being sincerely attempting to have a discussion with me regarding 'discerning' and how that is different from judgement...until you flat out disparaged my character and insulted me with this:

And before you get all hot under your collar to chastise me for 'telling it like it is', I could have use the issue of abortion and the devaluing of human life as the analogy, but I sensed through my spirit that you would more quickly catch the sexualization analogy and feel the pricking of your soul thereby.

My initial reaction to that sentence and the entire anaolgy was not a 'prickling of my soul' but rather sorrow that you appear to be the typical judgmental, holier-than-thou, log-in-your-own eye Christian. But then I would be guilty of judging you as you clearly have judged me.

Therefore I will ignore your insulting motiviation and address what you said, which does make sense and has given me a starting point for study. (Daniel)

I will say that you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I would also point out that neither protagonist in the book engages in pre-marital sex. Both are virgins until they are married and there is lot of discussion between them on that issue.

I take your points and can understand what you are saying.

However I don't choose to be mislead by books, music and societies' self-appointed leaders regarding the nature of God, man, Good and evil.

We will both go our way and one or both of us may find out we were wrong...then again, one of both of us may find out we were right.

It's all speculation and taken on faith at this point.

I assumed you to be an adult, thus someone who had gone through the tugs of sexual lust in your youth, as most of us normal humans do. Having gone through such expereinces in your youth, you ought retain a familiarity with the tug and the means to deal with that tug so that it does not overwhelm your consciousness. With Bill’sinkEmperor’Clinton, the means to control his lusts seemed to have never taken hold. I was not putting you in that category, rather I was assuming you had dealt with this segment of ‘maturing’ and could make a quick application in the analogizing. Had I chosen abortion, it is iffy that you would have been through an abortion experience to the degree I was seeking for the application of an analogy.

JAK if you are a Christian your mormon friends think your religion is an abomination

In fact they have doctrines about how evil Christianity is

Thats what Joey Smith said when he was ex-communicated frrom the Methodist Church for preaching his new evil religion

2 weeks later Smith in 1830 invented his mormonism and designed his tenets to break every one of the 10 Commandments including the need to commit adultery in oreder to go to the mormon afterlife

he hated Christians and taught his followers to hate and kill Christians

He claimed to have a monopoly on God and that the Christians were “apostates” and “Gentiles” and deserving of death

a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is serving God. John 16:2

If the thoughtful demon was really concerned he would have left her alone. . . . .

__________________________________________________________

So now we see that you really didn’t read the book(s). In the book Edward was portrayed as leaving her for 6 months for her own good even though she was hurt by it.

She ended up saving him from his own suicide and nearly got herself killed in the process. He only came back because he thought that was the only way he could keep her safe.

The story is silly. Hansel and Gretel is silly. The wizard of OZ is silly. Snow White is silly. Cinderella is silly. How long would you like me to continue? Go make sure your kids don’t read any of these books with witches, wizards, fairy god mothers etc. in them.

It is just a story. If you want to lock up all these books to keep away from your kids then go ahead. If you don’t expose your children to these books and these stories and explain the difference between reality and silly stories then you do them a great disservice.

Mitt? He’s kinda silly too but not because he reads silly books.

_______________________________________________________

I’m not sure what it is that makes you think you are the judge of my Christianity. I’m not sure what it is that makes you think you know what my Mormon friends think about me. I realize that you are simply wrong. It is true that my Mormon friends think that every body that is not a member of their church can’t have full fellowship with Christ in the next world unless they join the Mormon Church. That is why the do their dead baptisms. It is a labor of love not hate. It doesn’t make any difference if it is wrong or right to me it has no effect on me.

Your evaluation of what they do is based on what was said 175 years ago in some cases. They don’t practice polygamy now. They don’t hate Christians. I know them, they are good God fearing people.

Your reference to their one time leader as “Joey” shows a real lack of respect for them. I think it is you that hates them and not the other way around.

It really doesn’t matter too much to me what they think of my religious views. I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ. I realize that He love me. He cared enough for me to suffer and die for me.

I may not believe all the same things you do, I likely don’t but when I leave this life I will do it without fear because I have felt His presence in my life. You talk about discernment, I have discernment when I read the scriptures, when I talk to God and when He talks to me. For me that is enough to motivate me to follow him as best I can. It may not be perfect but then again except for you who is?

I was a methodist until they started changing the rules about who could be ordained. So I guess I am in good company with Mr. Smith.

______________________________________________

I doubt if you have had 40+ extra marital sexual affairs including 14 yo little girls and 11 married women and threatened your legal wife with death if she complained

Smith did that...

BTW his whole intention in inventing his own homemaqde religion was to give him an excuse for deviant sex, wholesale adultery, bigamy, polygamy

Both the Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church kicked he and his family out becausae of his blasphemy

Besides the dead dunking, the mormon doctrines cvlaim that only men engaged in plur5al marriage they call the everlasting covenant, celestrial marriage get to go top the mormon afterlife

D&C 132 on required polygamy is still a doctrine of the mormon religion and polygamy is practiced in the mormon afterlife

The Mormon god who was once aq man was a polygamist

The Mormon jesus qho started out as a man was a polygamist

Mormons believe that when their mormon jesus comes back to Missouri they will be able tyo practice polygamy in the open again

In mormon doctrines one man one woman is what the mormons call “prostitution”

Dont flame me

I didnt write the doctrines

The mormons Joey Smith, Briggie Young, Hever C Kimbaqll, John taylor etc did

Ande if you doont like me calling a child rapist whos been dead for 170 years Joey, you wont like what the mormons say about the LORD Jesus Christ of the Christian Bible

You really sound silly. Do you really think someone could explain a 1500+ page series book to you?

You haven't read the books, so you shouldn't be the one to comment on it.

I think this is a good time for several people to remember an old saying..... “You can't have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.”
