I’m holding my tongue on Brewer right now to see how this shakes out. Especially after reading about the Soros funded SoS Project. She may very well have saved the state and the union from perpetrating an even bigger farce in the future. And don’t say it is not possible to have one worse than this usurper.
That’s not a fair analogy. The Clampett’s were pretty self sufficient, Possum stew, chickens out back, Granny making her own soap. And when they spent money, it wasn’t taxpayer money.
Oh and they were firm believers in the 2nd amendment.
There's nothing in HB2177 (at http://www.azleg.gov//FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/legtext/50leg/1r/bills/hb2177s.htm&Session_ID=102 that makes the Secretary of State in Arizona any more or less powerful than in most states.
Instead, it adds a requirement for a presidential candidate to actually provide documentation to accompany his statement that he is eligible to serve.
A Secretary of State already has the power not to add a candidate that is clearly not eligible or has not otherwise met elections law in the state, such as failing to meet filing deadlines; this measure merely adds a new documentation requirement for a presidential candidate. From the Secretary of State's own webpage: "Serves as Chief Election Officer for the State and certifies candidates and measures (initiatives and referenda) to the ballot and certifies election results."
The governor is a nitwit.

Jed Clampett was an honest Hillbilly to the bone. All American. Real Redneck. The Clampetts had a quaint style but tons of common sense. No, Obama is an uppity Kenyan who can’t believe his luck in punking the USA.
There was a Republican contender for some state office who had to disclaim witchcraft because of some of the vicious rumors about her.
One never sees the o’s publicly socializing with Washington,D.C. society (even of their own peers or among the black elite of any known city in the US. the’bamster plays golf & ‘chelle goes on vacay with her own entourage.
You never see their pic with any one “social set” even for a night out to the Kennedy Center or events held nation-wide unless they are campaigning for their own agenda.
Where’s their press pics in the “Washingtonian” or “Town & Country”-(lol)
