Earlier this week, Magistrate Daniel Cook, who handles small claims cases in Lorain, Ohio, was on the bench when he reached for his gavel and discovered it was missing. After checking every possible place it could be, police reported, Cook concluded that someone had actually stolen his gavel.

LOL...Here in my hometown, two cops got called out last weekend to answer a call about a stolen car. While they were investigating, their cop car got stolen.
I’ve known them to steal their attorney’s brief case, but don’t they know that incompetent attorney in the black dress can leave marks in your life?
Some things get stolen for their value, and some things get stolen just out out of pure chutzpah; I can respect that.
When I was a kid growing up in Chicago we used to steal billy clubs from squad cars. The cops used to leave their doors unlocked while getting something to eat.
