Many Americans were startled to see University of Arizona students distributing t-shirts at the memorial service in Tucson yesterday. On the front of the shirts, "Together We Thrive" was printed, along with a trendy logo. University spokeswoman Jennifer Fitzenberger told FoxNation.com "it was our idea to do the t-shirts."

Only $60,000 for 26,000 T-shirts?

$2.31 each for custom printed T-Shirts?

Something stinks here!

How did a 4 month old company make 26,000 T-Shirts in three days over a weekend?

I have a new college team to hate.

By the way “Together We Thrive” was a trial balloon slogan for Organizing for America in 2008:

Gee, founded in 2010, claims hottest college brands, yet can’t get UC San Diego right (see college collection)?

I guess there was no one in all of Arizona that does next day tees...

/s

For a popular company... not much info. Just sayin’.

Who designed the logo, how many tees did they print for 60K?

Since they stated the university didn’t pay, were they donated?

Why are they taking orders in the future?

Who paid for these and whose idea was it? I do work for college bookstores and this is not a college bookstore kind of job. They don’t have a dime to spare and coming up with $60k on two days notice is not within their power.

That's all I want to know. I don't care who did the work, I want to know where the money came from. As to whose idea it was, I really don't think it was the White House, but it took a real idiot to go with this t-shirt idea.

So, some democrats at the university came up with the idea...Obama’s team approved it, don’t kid yourself. This is the new campaign slogan...at least for a while.

I’ll bet “Together We Thrive” ends up on Obama’s re-election signs, bumper stickers etc.

Actually, that’s not out of line. Probably $1.40for the shirt and another $.40 to print; including labor. That would yield a profit of about 22%. Not too bad for a quick deal for a large quantity.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the costs were even lower than that.

but appears the U is paying for them somehow. Exactly how not disclosed.

And why not? Charitable contributions are something that has always been something to be proud of. Did you see where monks donated the hand made, personalized coffin for Christina? Why would you hide your gifts? It's always been a catalyst to others when charity is displayed. Why hide it?
