Whats the situation currently? Is death imminent for FR? This is what Jim said: As it is, we get a couple thousand donations per quarter averaging about $30 bucks each and there’s no guarantees we can cover this quarter’s expenses much less next quarter. We’re on a pay as we go system and we have zero employees.We just ask for enough to pay the bills.
FR lives hand to mouth and Freepathons are taking longer to fulfill. It may be that sometime we won't complete a fundraiser and that will be that.

FWIW, I used to contribute but stopped when I felt unwelcome to post here because I was not willing to jump on Sarah Palin’s bandwagon. I have never been anti-Palin, I just want to take my time to explore the field before I make this kind of decision.

When I joined, a fundraiser was going on and I thought it best that I become a monthly donor. Using paypal was easy and it was the least I could do.

With all the bitching some freepers have been mouthing, I don't blame Jim for being disgusted. Some freepers bragging about how much money they give, other complainers also...

i. do my part..maybe better than most but i think the forum sees less action now than before except when things heat up even though we have accumulated more total membership. it seems like less and less high reply counts.....im sure someone knows
