Just finished watched Sheriff Dupnik on Fox News. This guy is serious trouble. Please inform yourselves, freepers, and please--if you're from Pima County, contribute your insights.

The moment he started talking, he oozed self-righteousness and pomposity. He kept alluding to "vitriol"--a code word the Progs use to talk about talk radio and conservatives.

I blame Sheriff Clarence Dupnik for the shooting. He claims there that there are words that will cause this kind of shooting spree, notably in Arizona. So why did he not take steps to protect the victims? Dems blamed G. Bush for 0/11 because it happened on his watch. Same thing here.

Dupnik is looking to take any attention from him. Laughner had been arrested on drug offences. He never should have been able to get a gun under Dupnik’s watch. Hence the Democrat blames Palin.

Well, about that. Reportedly, Loughner had a history of making public death threats that been ignored by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

Let us be clear: it is not a matter of controversy whether or not Loughner made death threats, or at least it should not be. As was reported by both local sources (via here) and Reuters, Sheriff Dupnik himself revealed that Loughner had made death threats against at least one person who was not Congresswoman Giffords.
