She warned us...

Sarah Palin deserves an apology. When she said that the new healthcare law would lead to “death panels” deciding who gets life-saving treatment and who does not, she was roundly denounced and ridiculed.

Now we learn, courtesy of one of the ridiculers — The New York Times — that she was right. Under a new policy not included in the law for fear the administration’s real end-of-life game would be exposed, a rule issued by the recess-appointed Dr. Donald M. Berwick, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, calls for the government to pay doctors to advise patients on options for ending their lives. These could include directives to forgo aggressive treatment that could extend their lives.

This rule will inevitably lead to bureaucrats deciding who is “fit” to live and who is not. The effect this might have on public opinion, which by a solid majority opposes Obamacare, is clear from an email obtained by the Times.

Should we be surprised. Isn’t one Saul Alinskys’s “rules for
radicals” to deny any agenda?

Looks like she deserves one over the START treaty as well.

Isn’t it amazing that someone so stupid gets lucky guesses right so many times?

She uses common sense in her predictions.

Something seriously lacking in those who seek power to use for corruption.

Of course she was right. Death panels are the whole point of health care reform. Turning the health care system over to a bureaucracy means life and death decisions will be made bureaucratically. That's the whole idea — we save money by letting the experts decide who gets what care when. It was a stroke of genius to describe the new health care bureaucracy as “death panels” and all the left wing squawking about that phrase was deeply dishonest.

For a dumb bunny Sarah Palin has a remarkable knack for cutting to the chase.

Sarah Palin would destroy the Communists Party (formally the Democratic Party) if she were President. Think about it. She is damn right and has the guts to speak it out. Where in the Republican Party do we have that gift. A few are coming out of the woodwork but seem some of them have already slipped back in the garbage can. And still some fools just don't get it.

Palin for President!

Yep. The left is so afraid of Governor Palin for many reasons, not the least of which the blow that just her appearance with Trigg deals to their precious ABORTION. They take any quote of hers and change it slightly to mean something else, then ridicule her endlessly for the quote that Tina Fey actually made. Then, the media, along with the RINO’s push RINO candidates that they know can’t be elected. - Then we end up with people like the Teleprompter President who has done damage to America every way he can with a big fat smile on his face. Even if Palin were stupid, which she is not, it would beat this MESS we are stuck with. I’d have been glad for a black President, but someone like Clarence Thomas or Allen West please!

Stupidity, blind trust in the liberal teaching that has been main stream for the last 50 years. Much of it was/is covert, yet the voices that yearn to turn America to communism, or one world international government has been at work all my life and I am beyond retirement age.

We know it takes interest, paying attention to facts, history, etc. What people are interested in is what they see as DIRECTLY affecting and benefiting their self. Gain for them is what they care about knowing: loss for others is of no concern to them whatsoever. The government always cuts the most basic and vulnerable first and do so severely. Police protection, firemen, teachers, old peoples services, etc.

What the government has been forcing on us is mass transportation,(buses) along with the exorbitant rise in gasoline prices, attempting to imit Americans use of cars and travel and thus world knowledge and freedom and liberty.

It is not about doing the most and best with the monies the government takes from us in taxes, ... it is about gaining control of every aspect of our lives, and controlling the masses.

Soon it turns tyrannical rather than beneficent.

enough already.
WAKE UP!

NOTICE HOW IT IS WORKING!

STOP THIS PERVERSION HAPPENING TO AMERICA.

GOD HELP US IN OUR DAY, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN. SARAH PALIN FOR PRESIDENT! 2012. She has my vote!

No she wouldn't.

Anybody paying attention when Reagan got shot and what happened afterward?

The woman has an absolute gift for the turn of the phrase.

“Death panels” summed up, so brilliantly, the inherent problem of socialized medicine - that it hit right on the target with devastating impact.

That is why she received so much flack, because she was right on target.

But she wasn't talking about these “end of life counseling sessions”, that is still the Dr. trying to convince YOU that aggressive treatment isn't in (the taxpayers) best interest.

That is the red herring raised by the left to try to convince people that THIS is what she was talking about, but really it is nothing and we will remove it from the bill (but “death panels” were not, supposedly, even in the bill, according to the original narrative. Then they were taken out. Then they were put back in through regulation instead of legislation).

An actual “death panel” will be when the rules come down from on high that “premature babies under 2 1/2 lbs will not be put in incubators”, etc, etc. There will be no Dr. advising you, there will be “the rules” from some bureaucratic panel why you are not getting cared for.

I had the privilege of meeting a former one pounder. Her mother brought her back to the neonatal intensive care unit to run down the hallway on her second birthday. My baby grandson was in the NICU with many babies two lb. or less, who survived. The ghouls aim to extend abortion into the ranks of the living.

About time for all the twenty year olds to come out of the woodwork and tell us how they have reached their erudite opinion that "while Palin may get it right once in awhile, I have decided she's not ready yet."
