No Labels: Liberalism Without Labels
Human Events ^ | 12/21/2010 | Tony Lee

Though the group is barely formed, two things seem patently obvious. First, since elite liberals have failed in branding themselves as “liberal” and then “progressives” in a country that is center-right, No Labels seems to be another center-left attempt at re-branding the movement. Taken in this light, the group’s deciding not to have a label says a lot about how poorly any group or policy that has an overt center-left tag performs in the center-right political marketplace.

Second, No Labels, which purportedly seeks consensus on a range of issues, accomplished its primary goal of bringing together the left, right, and center in its very first week of operation. Americans of all political persuasions saw the futility of an elitist, wishy-washy, center-left group that lacks core principles yet attempts to become the arbiters and imposers of what they deem to be “sound” political discourse and policy.

It’s always a clear indication of a bankrupt ideology when it has to periodically change it’s labeling to fool people into supporting the same dumb ideas.

Now the fools on the Left are trying the ‘No Labels’ Label gambit. Thankfully people are beginning to wake up to the scams from the Left and are rejecting them.

BTW, OPPRESSIVE is the best term to describe the authoritarian control freaks on the Left.

This instead of the misleading label ‘Progressive’ they have applied to themselves. Not only implies that if you resist their agenda that you are against ‘Progress’ {whatever the heck that means} but the definition of the word is so vague it could mean almost anything.

The only people that avoid labels are those with something to hide. For all that McCarthy is blamed for, he understood this, and demanded that those with interests contrary to the country be dragged out into the light, kicking and screaming.

It's almost funny how the Left is preoccupied with appearances. It's Orwellian. They're "Liberals" (which, of course, is the opposite of what they are). No, now they're "Progressives." Now they are "No Labels."

As Rush Limbaugh observes: They can't be honest about who they are and what they stand for.

I think everyone understands the left’s need to constantly re-label.

Labels, including those they adopt for themselves, eventually come to the point where they convey useful information about the ideology they are attached to.

That leftist ideology is abhorrent to the majority of people, to decent people who haven’t had their consciences seared.

Merry Christmas to you too.

Very simply, the left are a virus.

Their label ‘names’ mutate but ultimately, they leave a path of destruction wherever they may roam.

Slightly OT, but wouldn’t big brother (or Big Bro’) have loved the new e-reader’s like the kindle – what better way to send something down the memory hole than simply change it on the fly.
