The one thing I have not heard in all these articles about Moochelle and her glorious salad bars is how much wasted food they will be throwing out at taxpayer expense.

Salad Bars? Another petri dish program..where they create a “solution” that only causes MORE problems, that they can then create another “solution” for.....Salad Bars - little e-coli factories....

Each refrigerated salad bar unit costs on average $2,500, add the cost of keep fresh produce fresh (refrigeration, replenishment); add the cost of spoiled produce, add the cost of assigning someone to keep an eye on and maintain the salad bar (to keep the spit and goobers out of the salad dressing)..... for public school kids. Disaster.

In college I heard that eating salad was good for you and slimming.

So I had one with all the trimmings on top of each of my regular meals.

I ended up gaining a lot of weight that year.

It will be the same for a lot of these kids.
