Attn: Florida Freepers Need help with Absentee Ballot

Posted on 10/26/2010 3:00:32 PM PDT by submarinerswife

I need some help with deciding what judges to vote for in Florida in my absentee ballot. I found the info needed for Supreme Court justices (Vote out the two who rejected the lawsuit against Obamacare) but I would like to know more about District Court of Appeal judges.

I am currently living in SC and am not familiar with the issues going on in the courts.

Please HELP!

You might want to address this to the Florida forum.

You need to identify the District on your ballot ... e.g Fifth District Court of appeals. Also, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we are not “helping you with your Absentee Ballot” but rather are providing voter education assistance so that you can make up your own mind. /disclaimer

I am a Florida resident...and I always vote against retaining any of the judges.

Even with the GOP dominating the Governors mansion and the state house.....liberal judges keep getting appointed. It was bad enough when the Dems ran everything....but the Judge situation has not been much better with Liberals mostly getting appointed (which is why I am critical of most Florida GOP like Jeb Bush, Charlie Crist, and Marco Rubio).

UCFRoadWarrior,
Brother in law is a St. Pete lawyer vermin and I discussed just this issue with him while sitting on the banks of the Suwannee River.
He said the Florida Bar is dominated by liberal dems and has been forever.
Any judge nominee etc goes through the board which is putrid lib.
Just relaying what I was told.

Vote yes on 8, it is being opposed by the teachers unions.

My advice is to contact your local GOP County committee to get their receommendations.

Vote NO on the Leftist Perry and Labarge.
Perry is a real radical.
I think the other two Supremes were Jeb Bush people but just goggle their names .

They voted to kill the Obamacare amendments and voted for Gore in the recount !

I would google each name and figure out who appointed them !
I voted against all Lefty Lawton Chiles appointees.

I would your Fl County GOP website for other suggestions.

Vote NO on that Proposed new way to handle congressional seats . Its a scam by the Dems and the trial lawyers.

To be honest there is little chance of ANY judge losing retention.
I vote NO on all judges though I know they will all be retained, just to send a message.

The question is to retain or not retain. I believe I said TO NOT RETAIN WHICH MEANS NO.
