Did they at least kill all or most of the captors? Frayer doesn't say.

She was not killed in a rescue attempt. She was murdered by terrorists in a rescue attempt.

And I wouldn’t be surprised to discover that she had been repeatedly raped over the last two years too.

At least they tried. Better than to have sent un-armed UN “forces”.

Sadly, no news of the fate of her captors. Pity.

These supposed ‘holy men’ kidnapped a woman who was helping people, then killed this woman.
Nothing less than a filthy dog would do. Stupid, cowardly, unclean, barbaric swine, is what they are.
When will Islam enter the 21st century and stop behaving in such a backward way. Kidnapping and killing women. Women who are righteously helping others.
God rebuke them.

Not meaning any disrespect, BUT, What the hell are ya doing as a “ Aid worker” in Afganistan?
It may even be less dangerous being a white social worker in WATTS.

She went on to work for the World Wildlife Fund in Peru, the United Nations in Laos and then in Afghanistan. Most recently, Norgrove was the regional director for a five-year, $150 million USAID project in Afghanistan designed to create jobs, boost the economy and improve local Afghan leadership. I wonder what egregious things were done to these poor, oppressed people to cause them to do this? </sarc>
We need to send them more aid....

I heard on the radio that 8 of her captors were killed. In that sense, she certainly did not die in vain.
I understand it was US Special Forces, also from the radio.
The reporter said reports were that she (and the 8 sacks of trash) were killed when one of the sacks of trash threw a grenade in the room where she was being held.

The reporter said reports were that she (and the 8 sacks of trash) were killed when one of the sacks of trash [kidnappers] threw a grenade in the room where she was being held. Poor thing. She was obviously very well meaning, but the problem is that there is no helping these people. Muslims are insane; even when they accept your help and don't kill you, it's only because they don't have the ability to do so at that particular moment. But as soon as they do, they will kill you.

Well, let’s see if the simpering British poodle, formerly known in Churchill’s time as “the British Lion,” can muster up a modicum of irritation or affrontry to kill a few Taliban pigs for revenge.
I seriously doubt it. The whimpering poodle Brits are more concerned about making the sand rat goat humpers comfortable taking over Britian.
