GOP candidate Jeff Perry got a major national boost yesterday when he was named a Young Gun by the Republican Congressional Committee, raising the potential of new ammo for his duel with rival Democrat William R. Keating.
We believe Jeff Perry is in a very good position to win - even in Massachusetts, said RCC spokesman Tory Mazzolla. This is a very winable seat.

This is another excellent development. I hope that the grass roots who supported Scott Brown are watching this race and Sean Bielat’s against Barney Frank.
This guy Jeff Perry just bashed Sarah Palin in public the other day, after having been on the same stage with her at a Tea Party rally back in April of this year. He said (publicly) that he didn’t want her endorsement.
More recently, he’s drawn closer to Mitt Romney, who has endorsed him and contributed to his campaign. There’s a recent photo of them on stage together around here somewhere.
“Young gun” getting a ringing endorsement from the Republican party establishment, huh? Smells like RINO dung to me.
Massachusetts Minutemen Ping!
“Smells like RINO dung to me.”
You sound like a Democrat to me.
We are, we’ll have a FR Chapter meeting of sorts tomorrow on Taunton Green - four of us so far!
I hope that the four of you have lots of relatives and friends who live nearby and have disposable income.
I’m not in the 10th district, but for those who are:

Aren’t you from Texas?
Your home page identifies you as being in Indiana. Is that correct?
It’s nice to see those from other states who are so eager to vote here.
Yes.
He’s not a RINO. Sarah Palin would not help him at all by coming to campaign for him here.
I think it’s good that members from around the country take interest (as I do likewise on other races elsewhere), but I’ve never understood folks bitching about the more conservative of two candidates in the Final.
And they really should check out candidates FULL records before calling ‘em RINOs, imho.
I hope that the GOP does WELL throughout Massachusetts, with the MAJORITY of political races, at every political level, but I’m not holding my breath. Way too many Massachusetts voters continue to be “stuck on socialism”, and it’s, profoundly, frustrating!
Unfortunately, few have any sympathy for our limited choices.
“I agree. But there was no need to trash Palin like that in public”
And I agree with that but we don’t need to continue to bash him for one stupid remark after a nine year record of being a SOLID conservative, a veteran, and a cop.
We got a nation to recapture.
John will you be with us in Taunton? I’ll be wearing a FR hat!
I wasn't aware there was such a thing as a "Massachusetts Only" forum. Did I miss a meeting or something?
It matters to all 57 states what kind of lunatic any particular state decides to elect to the House. Even if the particular state is Massachusetts.
