I’m not able to make it, unfortunately.
It’s our lost John, hopefully the next time.
You can send a check to Sean though!
Perry wasn’t intending to trash Palin....he mis-spoke and meant to say ‘celebrity’.
Jeff Perry has a solid conservative record in the MA State House. He’s been tough on illegals and voted against Romney are.
Nice tagline - I could almost write Howie’s columns for him.
Is Barney Frank your currnet Congressman?
I think that the media is also trying to drive a wedge between the TEA Party and Republican candidates.
This is an important race and I hope to see Perry win. The big excitement in Massachusetts seems to be over Sean Bielats campaign against Barney Frank. I’d be surprised if he actually won, but he’s showing surprising strength.
No, I have Neal. Our town just outside Worcester voted 2-1 for Scott Brown, and Wesley (R) signs out-number Neal (D) signs 3-1. I don't know how our district is gerrymandered, but I'm praying for an upset in our district too. Tom Wesley mailed out some great postcards during the primary which were aimed at Neal. I think they would be equally effective in November.
I think that the media is also trying to drive a wedge between the TEA Party and Republican candidates.

Yes....that’s what they like to do.....a CNN Dem ‘consultant’ said the Tea Party is tearing apart the Republican Party!
That’s the Dems’ hope! The reality is the Tea Party is moving the GOP back to its’ principles & values!
Yes, the MA-10 has been won by GOP presidential candidates, but not since 1988.
It’s the least Democrat CD in MA, and I’m confident thay Perry will win (he certainly scared Delahunt into retirement), but let’s not fool ourselves into believing that it’s more Republican than it is.
Do you have any documentation of him bashing Sarah? I’m not doubting you; I’d just like to see some documentation.
It was the lead post of a thread that ran on the forum yesterday (Friday, 9-24-10).
I'd have to comb through pages of threads to find it, but it's here. It got tons of replies, by the way, so a lot of people saw it.
Michael Grimm will un-seat Democrat Mike McMahon in the 13th NY and become the only conservative from New York City. Not naming him as a Young Gun was a mistake and an insult to us.
I support Palin for 2012.
But Palin’s endorsement would be toxic for Perry in the Massachusetts media. We would no longer be able to get our message out - it would be drowned out. Her endorsement would not help at all in MA - it would hurt. Jeff took the only stance possible. Perry supporters who are also Palin fans understand this. We probably already have virtually all the TEA partiers there are in the MA 10th.
As usual the liberal media was trying to destroy him by creating an issue that would resound in MA. He had to put a firm stop to it. Would I have preferred he use a word other than “entertainer,” sure. In subsequent comments he now uses “celebrity.”
I am fully involved in Perry’s campaign. Yes, it is being helped tremendously by the Brown and Romney organization, database, contacts, fund raisers, etc. we have a ground game second to none. Our fund raising is matching a district attorney backed by a well oiled Dem machine. We need Brown and Romney’s support to win and cannot alienate them with a Palin endorsement. Sarah has no ground game in MA.
But Jeff is definitely not a RINO. He was 1 of 2 out of 200 MA legislators who opposed his friend Mitt Romney’s health care. Someone has posted his voting record and you can see for yourself that he has a consistent conservative record. He has walked the walk.
Here is a link to a cached page of his past editorials and writings over the years so you will know this is not an election year conversion:
If you can find his (excellent) book, MyGOP you would also know he is a Reagan Republican.
In appreciation for Romney’s essential help, do I think he will support Romney for Prez in 2012? Probably. But some here think Romney is a conservative. I don’t. But Jeff is. I would not be volunteering for him if he were.
But rino’s in Taxachussetts are a GOOD thing.
That sort of thinking has already gone extinct. Some just haven't gotten the memo yet.
