You see this is why applying the 2nd amendment to the States is a bad idea. Now the same exceptions which are applied by the individual state and local governments can and will be applied by the by Washington D.C. upon all of us whether we want them or not.

Tell me that when they pass, "Closing the Gun Show Loophole Act."

They need to be sued for civil rights violations. Not in their official capacity but in an individual capacity... Do that and this crap will stop in it’s tracks.

Get and hide your unregistered firearms while you can.

If you think you should hide your guns, then you've completely misunderstood the central concept for owning them in the first place.

This is their attempt to outlaw private sales. Next they will not allow dads to pass down guns to kids - and if they do, fines and jail time.

The Houston Chronicle refuses classified ads for firearms from private citizens and has for nearly ten years. They don't care about anything but their agenda, I'll never pay to read their propaganda or click on their web links. Pro sanctuary city, taxpayer provided choo choo train (1/2 billion for about 8 miles), homosexual mayor, anti-property rights (business owners denied the right to allow customers to smoke on their property), the list goes on and on and on...

So who was it that said gun control wasn’t on their agenda?

And now comes the part where they disarm us.

The American revolution began when the British tried to take the Colonists’ weapons.

I generally agree with you, but I also believe it is good to have some unregistered ones “In Reserve” - not hard to imagine a scenario where that might have been a good precaution.

“How could that have ever happened? I will never understand it.”

I think the point of his entire post was to highlight just how this could happen.

If you dismiss it as overdone, extreme, alarmist, etc., then you would have had lots of company in pre-gas chamber Germany. They would have considered this post over-the-top as well.

This doesn’t happen overnight. It happens with one law, followed by another law, then another. The principles are what matter, not how innocuous each law may seem along the way.

Are we free, or aren’t we? If not, enslave us all. If we are free, leave us the hell alone. It’s just that simple.

If Americans allow their guns to be confiscated by other human beings, then it is only a matter of time before the horrific scenes in the images above become the reality, right here in the United States.

If Americans don’t make this stand, they will be slaughtered wholesale.

Don’t take my word for it, look at history. Mother nature dictates it, not little ‘ol me.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!

The Second Amendment didn't say "keep and hide arms." It will be time to bear them and put them to their intended use once the traitors outlaw them.

you don't have to obey them, but that won't make you any less a criminal if you get caught up in their new laws

“Get and hide your unregistered firearms while you can.”

When it gets to the point you have to hide your firearms, it is time to use them.

It’s just predictable that gungrabbers would convene in Chicago, which once upon a time was a decent place to live.

Real question: a candidate for Congress, maybe the one running against Dingy Harry Reid, said that if pushed to wall, citizens “might resort to Second Amendment solutions”.

Howls of outrage from the MSM followed with accusations of fomenting armed insurrection.

Who was this brave soul?

So who are the purported “lawmakers” the story was referring to? Jody is not a lawmaker. A very poorly written story, to say the least.

Nothing wrong with having some unregistered.

The point is, the only reason for having them at all, is to protect life and limb. If you're unwilling to defend yourself with deadly force from those who would disarm you, then you have already surrendered.

That’s an excellent question. Recently I asked one of York Counties finest (Sheriff dept officer)about the possibility of a mass round up of privately owned firearms. He told me that he would resign rather than participate in such an unconstitutional effort. I do believe, however, the UN would willingly dispatch their so called “peacekeepers” from unfriendly nations to storm our homes and kill any resisters.
Its going to get bloody folks...the time is nigh to prepare for same.

The second some asshat politician uses the term "common sense legislation", you're know they're pushing poison.

"Common sense" is just another way of saying, "Whatever happens to seem obviously right to me and, since no one, obviously, can have any deeper or more accurate insight into reality than I do, the only rational thing to do." The corollary to that is, "Anyone who says anything to the contrary is, therefore, either stupid (and must be "cared for") or ignorant (and must be reeducated) or deliberately evil (and must be eliminated). The justification: "Because I have enough power to do it."

The same old crap. The triteness of tyranny. What the Founding Fathers sought to subjugate through the concept of pitting faction against faction in the context of a limited federal government, the separation of powers, the states versus the federal government, and the people versus the states (which the 17th Amendment wrecked). And the funny thing is that the Founders recognized that at some point the tyranny of personal ambition that has co-opted the brute force of the government must be countered with resistance and, if that doesn't work, whatever brute force is appropriate to end the tyranny.
