The National Park Service said Thursday that it has approved the permit for the Aug. 28 Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin rally at the Lincoln Memorial.

Park Service spokesman Bill Line said the permit indicates that organizers expect 300,000 people to attend. Line said it is a "fixed rally" without a march. The rally will go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bring it on, “Reverend” Al! I relish the opportunity for him to make a total ass of himself.

Jesse Jagmo has been relegated to marching in Detroit on that day with Klan Pink, the SEIU, ACORN (under their new name)

It's a sad day in this country when we have to ask permission to petition our so called government.

I mean really, what would they do if 300,000 showed up and there wasn't a "permit" acquired?

They would sh!t in their pants!

Info on Jackson’s march in Detroit. Also note that the picture at the top doesn’t have a single cracker in it. Apparently Jesse’s rainbow doesn’t have any white in it.

Al should JOIN WITH Glenn Beck. But then again, such a show of solidarity would mean an end to the racial divide necessary for Al’s very existence.

Don’t know about them but Arne Duncan will. I guess the 828 thing being to Restore Honor, and the true History of the Civil Rights movement will be too informative to the masses and especially the little kiddies, so he, being edumacation secretary, must thwart it.

“Throughout history America has seen many great leaders and noteworthy citizens change her course. It is through their personal virtues and by their example that we are able to live as a free people. On August 28, come celebrate America by honoring our heroes, our heritage and our future”

I can understand why “Al Sharptongue” would want to “counter demonstrate”. After all, if these sorts of things go unchallenged, why it just makes Al and his friends look bad by comparison.

Line said it is a "fixed rally" without a march.

If everyone sort of moseyed on over to the White House, what would they do?

If everyone decided to go see what the Capitol looked like what would they do?

Permit? Permit? We don't need no stinkin' permit!

I think you are correct. My mom, aunt, and uncle will be there. I would be there too if we weren't currently on a bare bones budget. I don't think any of the busses would appreciate my three boys, ages 4 and under. But I am so proud of my mom for going. She says every one she talks to here in rural Michigan knows at least one other person who is going.

I wish I could be there as well. Business has been tough and funds are short. There at least 5 buses from OKC making the trip. That doesn’t count Tulsa and surrounding areas. I am hoping they overflow the monument area and send a BIG Message....of couse the Iman Obama will call them Right Wing Crazies.

When the motorcycle community decides to put 2 million bikers on the streets in DC, I will find the money and be there. That demonstration should put the fear of God in someone!...red
