Something is going on under the radar. There is no logical reason for this planned cover-up. I bet they didn’t expect to get caught so soon with their hands in the cookie jar.

Why would you need to cover-up documentation at the SEC? Forced financial collapse?

There is an 11% approval rating on Congress. I don’t question the 11% or even bother to fault them. My question is to all the rest of 89%...why are these people still in office? Why have they not been literally driven from their positions already. Where are the demands for their resignations and prosecutions?

C’mon! Are we really going to let these people get away with ALL, ALL this?

None of these 1000 page Democrat bills can be taken at face value. The scum of the earth Democrats and their homosexual staffers insert too many depth charges. Yes the gays are very big on Congressional and Senate staffs in fact they love Federal employment in the Imperial city of DC. Tons of them in bulletproof BS federal jobs. Why do you think the Federal bureaucracy in DC at least is so awful and slow? Affirmative action hiring is to blame. The gays are just about all liberal or libertarian and they don’t help the situation either though most probably are intelligent enough

Agree with your entire post, but believe the next line should have started with putting a halt to their mischief by “DEFUND, and Investigate, expose, prosecute, imprison and disgrace their name for eternity.”

I would believe by defunding everything they have put in place during their reign of Leftist political terror we could prevent them from setting precedence that would be more difficult to break upon the culmination of such investigation that would expose them to prosecution, and ultimately imprisonment.

IM not so HO our new Congress won’t be able to do much immediately but stop the anti-Constitutional assault on our government, our way of lives, but we can keep their handiwork I would think from setting like concrete by stirring it up, and keeping it from doing so until we the people can regain total power by the ballot box (if that will remain a viable means) and clear their legislation from the books. This is NOT a Socialist Nation, nor is it a Nation of slaves subservient to Chicago Mafia thugs, and their Carbon Trading ruse worth Trillions of dollars to them, and theirs should they succeed.

I am a coompliance consultant for (mostly) small brokerage firms, which is waht the majority of registered securities broker-dealers in this country are; firms with fewer than 50 employees or contractors.

I have been trying to find a list of the things that will directly affect my firms and have not yet been able to find an official summary of every provision in this 2,700 page monstrosity. I am finding it more than disturbing...

What would it take to for the brokerage firms to go on strike?

Somewhere, some how, something has got to give.

We’ve marched, protested, phone called, faxed ourselves ...to our very deaths.

All our attempts at redress are met with their arrogance.

The laws are written and created in secret...behind closed and locked doors in the wee hours of the night. At times and places that are “inconvenient” to the people.

Why are productive people afraid to stand up for themselves? Are we so well “programed” as to allow ourselves to be run off the cliff with the rest of the pigs?

What will ...when will we say enough. When will we decide to stop producing in order to protect ourselves?

Is Freedom really just another word for nothing left to lose?

I don’t see how this shameful period can ever be forgiven without full accounting and retribution. There’s no “can’t we all just get along” anymore. SOMEBODY has got to pay.

Republicans need to push a bill that outlaws provisions in bills that make them immune to the FOIA. Make the democrats go on record as fighting against transparency.

Absolutely. It'll bring the peoples attention to this issue. Most people don't know what's going on in Washington until a stink is made out of it by someone.

UNLESS.....the Republicans know THEY'LL have all this power when they take over in 2012.

So the effect of Obama’s actions becomes the opposite of what he originally promised.

This is the only consistent result of liberalism, ever.

I chuckled at the Janis Joplin take on this, but the rest of your post is serious. You are correct. I have been to Madison, DC, to my local reps offices to no avail. I really believe they only care if we withhold our money.

Upon further thought, this is a perfect target for a Cloward-Piven type attack. Just flood the office with FOIA requests (at 44¢ postage each). Each one of those would probably consume 15-30 minutes to reject it and mail back the rejection.

I don't think so ... now that they don't have to comply with any FOIA request, all those cards and letters will go to the recycle bin. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Surprise!
