KFC Bashed, Promotes Komen as Breast Cancer Group Links to Abortion

Washington, DC -- Kentucky Fried Chicken has started a new fundraising campaign to bring in money from the sales of pink buckets of chicken to benefit the Komen for the Cure breast cancer foundation. But pro-life groups are up in arms because Komen denies the abortion-breast cancer link and donates to Planned Parenthood.

Let me guess. None of the money goes to research, it goes to lobbying.

Why would Komen, which was set up to raise money and awareness of breast cancer, donate money to Planned Parenthood?!?!

The people who populate these foundations graduated with sociology, women's studies and other social work type degrees. If you aren't already sufficiently liberal going into one of these programs, you won't survive unless you adopt the mindset.

Then, once in place, the foundation can become a piggy bank for favorite causes with a respectable "beard." March of Dimes has the same problem. With the Unions, substitute community organizing for women's studies and it winds up with a similar result.

I’m guessing they justify this as saying they are contributing to women’s health concerns...how killing a fetus can be considered healthy for women is beyond me!
Also, since 10% or breast cancer occurs in men do you suppose any of their funds go for Men’s health issues? Perhaps ED research?

Just a wild guess, but perhaps it’s because Planned Parenthood does more mammograms than any other single provider nation wide?

The American Cancer Society still denies any link as well.

You know, the same guys who spent 40 years denying any link bewteen smoking and lung cancer.

I don’t trust any of these foundations. My guess is that most of the donated money goes to pay salaries and very little goes to the intended purpose.
