The drug war in Mexico is far worse than is being reported in the media. Some media outlets in the United States have correctly reported that the media in Mexico is not reporting what is actually going on because of executions of news personnel and threats.
Most of the activity is on the border between the U.S. and Mexico and not in central Mexico. Border communities are seeing roads repaired by the drug traffickers for their use. Vehicles are speeding down these roads in excess of 100 mph and if anyone is on the road (s)he is subject to being run over without mercy and the bodies simply left by the road. Any animals that might have gotten through a fence that are perceived to be a danger to a vehicle approaching are shot. For some reason, drug trafficking personnel are going to parties and killing people at those events.
Mexico was marked off my travel list years ago.

This juvenile mentality is why we must insist upon a border fence, the grownups of the world want to go about the important issues of this life.

And, yet....Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder have been out here in AZ recently with the agenda of getting rid of Sheriff Joe who does more than anyone to get these illegal aliens out of this country....and Napolitano is halting the building of the border fence.....I tell you, this administration just gets more and more nutty everyday....it seems as if they view OUR country as the enemy to destroy....by any means...Mexican gang lords, Muslim terrorists, whatever....and then they have the nerve to call US names when we speak or shout out!

I’ve recently returned from a three-week vacation in Mexico in the state of Jalisco. It was great. Safe, beautiful, clean. Mexicans very warm and friendly. Viva Mexico.

To them, White Males are the true threat to THEIR way of life. To their way of thinking, the behavior these Mexican drug thugs is just a natural, understandable reaction to “oppression” by Uncle Sam. Same with the Jihadis.

I did go to Tequila, as a matter of fact. But, guess what, I don’t drink! On April 4, I’m celebrating 25 years of sobriety! I spent most of my time in Tlaquepaque, but also Tonala, Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. And, good grief, Puerto Vallarta was filled with gray-haired, overweight, polyester-clad American and Canadian retirees.
That IS precisely what the Left currently in power DOES believe, and THAT has been their goal to destroy the America you and I know and love for seemingly ever.
The left is also trying to destroy Mexico. However, Mexico continues to be a religious, conservative, family-oriented country. Don’t buy into everything the left-wing American media says about Mexico. I’m surprised how many conservatives here on freerepublic buy into the left-wing anti-Mexico propaganda. I’m further surprised at how many here have had their views of Mexico shaped by Hollywood.
You sort of glossed over the problems in Mexico like they don't exist and like you have never been to Mexico.
