The latest maneuvering by congressional Democrats to make their brand of health care reform a reality has a lot of Washington, D.C. insiders scratching their heads and unable to forecast what is around the bend when it comes to this legislation.
But have the media completely dropped the ball and that is allowing those in power to circumvent constitutional process? According to Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., they have. She had some harsh words for the fourth estate on conservative talker Sean Hannity's March 16 radio show. (h/t Kevin Eder)
"Well yeah and the other thing is treason media," Bachmann said. "Where is the mainstream media in all of this not telling this story? This is a compelling story - that the Speaker of the House would even consider having us pass a bill that no one votes on?"

Well yeah, if the pubs aren’t screeching TOO loud about self-executing deemon pass, it’s because they’re saying “PLEEEEASE don’ throw me in that briar patch. Choke me, burn me, beat me, shoot me, cut my head off, but PLEEEEASE don’t lay hands on me and throw me in that briar patch. Because if they do it that way it will be easier to oppose in the courts than if they have a legit up and down vote.
So Rufus, are you using a rogue copy of the Constitution that allows Members of Congress to be impeached?
Bachman is wonderful and feisty and she is taking the fight to the enemy, but she needs to study the Constitution a little deeper before popping off with outrageous ideas like that.

And -- in true Red-Scare form -- she called on reporters to investigate which members of Congress are secretly against America.Yes, she mentioned that Mrs. Obama just recently became proud of AmericaOn top of all this, she also alleged that Saul Alinsky was a teacher to Obama in Chicago. Alinsky died in 1972.
And of Alinsky she said, One of his teachers, you might say. I'm sure she meant to say mentor, so cleaned it up with the "you might say" disclaimer, worked for me.
This is an excellent collection of clips from an interview with the spitter (Matthews) which I think they believe makes Bachmann look bad, but it makes her look good IMO.
Plus the only reason she said reporters should investigate which members of Congress are anti-Americn is because Matthews kept badgering her to name them

Bachmann is a force, plain and simple. I do worry the folks in Minnesota will vote her out though. Hell, they voted for Franken.
