The latest maneuvering by congressional Democrats to make their brand of health care reform a reality has a lot of Washington, D.C. insiders scratching their heads and unable to forecast what is around the bend when it comes to this legislation.
But have the media completely dropped the ball and that is allowing those in power to circumvent constitutional process? According to Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., they have. She had some harsh words for the fourth estate on conservative talker Sean Hannity's March 16 radio show. (h/t Kevin Eder)
"Well yeah and the other thing is treason media," Bachmann said. "Where is the mainstream media in all of this not telling this story? This is a compelling story - that the Speaker of the House would even consider having us pass a bill that no one votes on?"

There's a lot more interest in this "process" than the Democrats imagined.
One analyst who did a running analysis said 90% of the comments were anti-deem and pass, and those consisted of folks who had a wide variety of political understandings.
Looks like fascism isn't terribly popular in America, and Il Duce and the Nancy Woman are definitely in a distinct minority.

I heard her yesterday on Hannity’s show. Very compelling. She is asking for people, any people, if you can come to Washington this weekend and visit your Congressmen, that is VERY effective. I am trying to make alternative arrangements so I can go there on Saturday.
Impeach Pelosi, ABSOLUTELY. She does look like she’s reaching her breaking point. Saw her on the news last night, she looked positively rabid and almost over the edge.
You can’t impeach members of Congress—it’s only for executive and judicial officers. They could expel her, but that requires 2/3 of the House. Removing her as Speaker requires only a majority, and functionally, requires only a majority of the Democratic caucus.
This name should catch on. It tells it like it is.

Good for Bachmann. She should also be telling people how any federal version of health care on its face is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care and that the people are not bound to comply with any unconstitutional act of Congress!

As Mark Levin mentioned yesterday, libs are all concerned with Due Process when it relates to illegals and criminals getting their day in court, but all of the sudden when it comes to the Constitutionality of this leviathan, Process doesn't matter to the people, according to them.
People I work with are not cognizant of this Slaughter trickery. When I showed a colleague an article about Slaughter rules posted on FR yesterday, he immediately called our congressman to protest.
