Senate campaign director plots to derail Republican candidates...
During this year's U.S. Senate races, it will be Democrats raising the issue of President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office.
Politico reported Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee chief Robert Menendez is distributing a memo to U.S. Senate campaign offices stating Democrats need to demand that their opponents answer a series of questions, including, "Do you believe that Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen?"
The report said Menendez wants to use the questions to "frame" opponents and "drive a wedge" between moderates belonging to the GOP and those who have adopted the tea party standards advocating limited government, lower taxes, fewer regulations and more freedom for Americans.
The Democrat memo said, "Given the pressure Republican candidates feel from the extreme right in their party, there is a critical yet time-sensitive opportunity for Democratic candidates.
"We have a finite window when Republicans candidates will feel susceptible to the extremists in their party. Given the urgent nature of this dynamic, we suggest an aggressive effort to get your opponents on the record."

hang all of them at high noon!
Did anyone find out why Hillary missed the SOFU speech last night?
Maybe it was a bad time for zero to piss off the Supreme Court.
Ummmmm.....be careful what you wish for it may come true moment coming?
The more relevant question is this: Is there anyone who can do anything about it?
So, if we have a DEFICIT of Trust, why don’t we show some CAPITOL by giving us the records of University Studies, Who paid the tuition, and when did the ma and pa get married, and where was the actual birth.
WorldNetDaily? I thought it was from the Onion.
“Do you believe President Obama is a US Citizen?”
Funny, him being a US citizen isn’t the issue here, is it? But nice to bring up a red herring you nit.
Trying to get all republicans to be viewed as right-wing extremists for the upcoming elections. I don’t think it’s a problem but I’m a right-wing extremist. Centrists will though. The dems will say that the republicans approved of the SCOTUS repeal of a 100 year old policy, what’s next, social security? The thing is, I’m old enough to know that I will probably never receive ss and really don’t want it. I want the money in my paycheck.
Wasn’t it ironic that ‘O’ in his SCOTUS attack last night brought up the problem with foreign interests and money in our elections? He is the foreigner, let it come back to bite him in the a**.
By the way, this goon is so stupid, he doesn’t even understand that the candidates can answer truthfully because he isn’t asking the right question. The question is DO YOU THINK HE IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN?
The answer is simple: he is a US citizen. No one knows if he is a “natural born” citizen since he hasn’t released copies of his vault birth certificate.
My first thought is, “Be careful what you ask for....you may just get it!”
I can see the dems may be opening a can of worms here. If the Repubs answer in the affirmative re the birth certificate and have the opportunity to lay all the info out, it may get more attention than they want!
As far as the other questions, I can see how the Repubs can change each one of them to their advantage.
Of course he is an American citizen. Of course, that is not the Constitutional qualification for the Presidency, is it?
If the Donks want to ask such a stupid question, they deserve a stupid answer.
Of course he is a US citizen, since his mother was a US citizen. No problemo. The question is..where was he actually born? Haven’t seen the answer to that question..but who am I to question? No standing.
My kids were born outside the US..and are US citizens, and like McCain are elgible, but that is not for me to decide.
Transparency is a great idea..show me.
One last thing (and this crap burns me up!) is that what is the deal with asking “Do you BELIEVE...?”
This isn’t a matter of BELIEF or anything, it is a completely VERIFIABLE ISSUE. You aren’t asking “Do you BELIEVE in an afterlife?” This is like saying “Do you BELIEVE that the earth is round?” Well, it doesn’t matter what I BELIEVE because what I BELIEVE doesn’t change the FACTS.
