Bob McDonnell
What this indicates is the success of pop culture and the lamestream media in destroying certain politicians with the ridicule and propagandist news coverage.
Oh yeah, I have been thinking exactly the same thing since the November 2008 election. Ubama thought that by appointing Hillary as Secretary of State he could "keep his enemy closer"? Heh heh, that's a two-way street.
I like Inhofe, Bolton, Cheyney. How about Pence? Only seen him a few times but he looks good.
They all look better than the salamander and the chameleon.
Now that’s a good point!
Hunter isn’t going to happen.
DeMint wuld be a nice choice but unlikely.
Poll results are meaningless and they know it. As long as Obama polls below 50% he’s vulnerable to anyone that runs a good campaign.
Absolutely she will...Clinton machine is working bigtime behind the scenes.
Thank goodnes.
Exactly ..and the Media is just as quick to determine for us who the canidates will be..awful!
Coakley is pro-life?
Brown is pro-abortion.
You didn’t know? ;^)
That Sarah is a woman and he is a male?
I’ve been dismissive of the theory up to now but given how some Freepers have reacted to Brown; making statements he should run for President I have to wonder.
He has less experience by far then she does. His positions are even less defined then her own except it would seem he’s probably more liberal then she. He’s certainly less experienced or known quantity then Barack Obama whom Freepers have excoriated. Yet people seriously float his name. Why? He’s charismatic but so is Sarah. He’s attractive but so is she. Which leads me to believe one of two things. It’s either because he’s male or it’s the accent.
A number of conservatives hated the way Bush spoke. Halting with a twang. Sarah has her own colorful speech.
Mitt and Brown are male and that that “impediment” to their speech is absent. If people really are that shallow and given the way people have fawned over Obama’s speech I am thinking they may be, God help us.
However, I’m not letting polls dictate my choice at this stage. Liberals are not an option for me. And I’m not a certain vote for anyone. Not even Sarah. I don’’t trust any politician and I’ll continue to observing all of them.
Hunter: Politics, or running for office, it is a process of identifying an opportunity and responding to it. And as you know, politics is largely timing. And if the right opportunity presented itself, Im not foreclosed at all to running again.
PA: This is one of the reasons that Ive coaxed myself into trying to interview you. If indeed, you dont want to slam the door shut and say ah, Im done with it, Ill retire and just throw my 2 cents in from the sidelines occasionally, if you indeed you think it is possible to run in the future, whether for the Senate, or the presidency again, or even governor, whatever the case may be. The thing that Ronald Reagan did after his loss in 1976, though he did this even before challenging Ford, but especially in those years after that primary, is that he gave speeches, he wrote papers, he kept himself in the public eye, and so by the time
Hunter: He had a radio show.
PA: Well yeah, yes, so that helped.
Hunter: That did more than the papers or speeches. You know, they asked him if he wanted to do a TV show, and he said no, Id rather do radio. He said people will get tired of me if they see me on TV, I wanna do radio. (laughs)
PA: That was a good answer. (laughs)
Hunter: yeah (lauging)
PA: So anyway, thats why I was very interested when you said you were writing a book, or that you were busy writing some policy papers on China and foreign policy. Because I think we are in for a real bad stretch here, coming down the pike. The Obama administration has started off very poorly, and I dont see it well Im hoping that it gets better- but I dont see it so. I mean Hugo Chavez is making noise, the Iranians are making lots more noise. Im sure you see the same things I do. Obamas team does not instill a lot of confidence in me
Hunter: I dont think Obamas team instills a lot of confidence in Obamas team. (laughs)
Hunter: But listen, Ive got to get ready for this thing (Hannity show), so you hang in there. And no, I have not foreclosed anything. And Im going to continue to keep a little bit in the public eye.

It’s hard to quantify “most conservative”, but, personally, I’d start with the group of governors who declared that they’d reject the stimulus money last year and narrow it from there. That’d be Sanford, Jindal, Palin, Barbour, Riley, and Perry. I might have missed some others, plus Palin is no longer a sitting governor and Sanford would be a non-starter now for obvious reasons.
Barbour?
Allan West
Duncan Hunter loses 85-15.
These Duncan nut-huggers are beyond delusional. I could name about 500 conservatives I’ve rather have over that uncharismatic fart.
