I'm making do on a small Social Security pension and felt obligated to make a small donation to FR because of all the news and fun it gives me during the year.
If I can do it, I know all you youngsters with jobs out there can give something.
After I made my donation, a screen appeared that showed the top states in donations and the disgustingly small number of FREEPERS who care enough to donate to keep our site going. It's an outrage.
If Jim Robb charged all of us a small monthly fee of one measley dollar he'd be a rich man. Don't let this invaluable resource go begging.

My friend I concur one hundred percent. I am 85 years old and have an ill wife of 80, still I get my quartly donation off to Jim. Like you I live on SS, and a small pension. I donate a total of $100.00 each year, that is $25.00 each quarter. Like you said, if each Freeper just donated a couple of dollars this site would be better.

Yes, much too slowly. I am a monthly donor. Jim has access to my card and does a monthly withdrawal. All I have to do is make an entry in my check book.
How many of you subscribe to a magazine or newspaper? Cancel one and send that money to FR. You will get more news and more fun than you get from any of those subscriptions. I agree that it is weaselly for some to get free use on other’s dimes. Not that I mind paying for someone who is not able to for whatever reason.
Don’t even like to say how much we donate. This Month we pitched in $100. Next month we’ll do another $50. I’m still working, only 54 years old.
Come on everyone, let’s roll. This site had a large impact on yesterday’s victory. I don’t need a thank you. I need to thank you!
That’s How Jim Thompson got his retirement money.
Been that way for 10 years. The funny thing, some of the most vocal and biggest bandwidth swillers on the site never give a dime. Some people considered FR “leaders” never pony up at FAT time.
I will next payday, round about first of next month.
