Merry Christmas, Scott Brown, and boy have the Democrats in Congress handed you the perfect gift - health-care “reform.”
Between now and election day, Jan. 19, there is no other issue.
This is what the Senate fight is all about. If the voter likes his or her health care - or at least doesn’t believe that the federal government is going to improve it - then they should vote for you, Scott Brown.
If they really, truly believe that Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi know more about their health-care needs than the voter himself and his physician, then by all means vote for Martha Coakley.
It’s that simple.

I hope this is enough to get Scott Brown into the Senate. The odds are against him, but it’s not impossible.

Make sure to drop bombs like “I can’t believe they are going to start taxing us in a few months for a program that doesn’t start until after 2014”, it makes their heads explode.

I don’t want Martha Coakley or Barney Frank examining my children.
This is bad news for Scott Brown as the only way he can win is to create some enthusiasm and news coverage. Right now, his shoestring campaign is running on fumes. Basically just yard signs, some Twitter messages and maybe a roll of duct tape.
I'm hoping that after the New Year, Scott Brown is able to do an ad blitz and create some controversy to get himself noticed. If I were him, I'd go nuclear on Martha Coakley, who is nothing more than an empty skirt, a cardboard cut-out of a big-government socialist. It would be a shame if a lackluster campaign by Scott Brown allowed her to park her nanny-state butt in a senate seat.
Where's Sarah Palin? I guarantee a visit by her would give the Brown campaign the jumpstart it needs. Even in Massachusetts, she'd bring out thousands of people for a campaign rally.
Money is required for anything more than a lackluster campaign.
Will the new Congress repeal healthcare if it passes and will our new POTUS do the same?
Will they make these people accountable?
I think it being off the radar is a good thing. Only highly motivated voters will participate. The Scott Brown base seems energized and the Deval/Obama voters are still wiping the exploding cigars off their faces and may not be too keen to pull another lever for the 'rats.
Seriously, does the RNC even know there’s an election here in 3 weeks? IF, IF ObamaCare can be tied up for 3 weeks, and a miracle occurs, presto, ObamaCare is dead in the Senate, as the Rats only have 59 votes (unless some GOP is bought off, but I don’t see even the Maine Twins breaking with the party this time).
Brown needs to go nuclear, ASAP! The entire Republican Party needs to go nuclear - what can they lose?
You presume the RNC wants to win elections (hint: they really, really don’t).
And that’s why I throw away their junkmail begging me for $ and I donate directly to the candidate.

I agree, I think most here just assume it is another “just mail it in” election, if anything that helps Brown imo. I’m hoping for a huge turnout in the burbs, Western Mass.
Unfortunately we are dealing with voters who kept sending Ted Kennedy back to the Senate, will continue sending the outrageous Barney Frank back to the House as long as he cares to run, gladly elected the wooden John Kerry to office, and will no doubt send Deval Patrick back to the governor’s mansion.
All true (sadly)! The one caveat is ObamaCare. All of the old people I’ve spoken with that plan to vote are voting “for” Brown. I say “for” Brown because they are voting against Medicaid cuts/ObamaCare, Brown provides them with a mechanism to do so. Any port in a storm.
If the majority of the voters in this place had 1/10 of a brain, Brown would win in a cakewalk. The problem is too many people here and nation-wide vote for a living.
I just tossed the RNC’s recent survey but sent an email to them asking why there has been no support of Scott Brown. I’ll also be writing to Fox asking them to support him. I’ve seen nothing as far as support for him in this critical election.
The tenor in this election is different. I’ve talked to a lot of liberals & independents that are voting for Brown. Now we need financial support to run his ads.

The likely response ? They’ll send you another letter asking for a contribution. They just don’t get it.
There is, but none is recent.
