They believe that once they get the skeleton in place that it will be impossible for the Republicans to dismantle it even if they win big in both 2010 AND 2012. It will only get bigger and more stifling as time goes on.
I am afraid they are right.
The correct term should be “hara kiri.”
I disagree. Set freedom in action again, and HealthControl will compare to free competition like Amtrak and the Post Office compare to the airlines and Fed Ex.
Franky, I think the USA will collapse into bankruptcy and dissolution as did the USSR. It will all end then.
I plan to channel my efforts and energies into 2010 and 2012 victories and beyond. (Thatcher got three terms, proving that it wasn't a fad.)
I am not so sure that its a done deal even if passed. Take a look at a couple of states where Gay Marriage was LEGAL and then overturned. I honestly did not see that happening. Once the government switch is on there is no turning it offf as it is power to the politicians, however, I see this one as not only vulnerable but an issue that will cause the political death of the left...its the tipping point we have been waiting for.
Let’s see:
Lose election, sustain long-term power hold by default as a result of “health care reform”
OR
Possibly lose election, no long-term power hold.
Hmmmmmm....
These are hardcore leftists who don’t give a damn about a midterm election if they can seize permanent control over Americans, their bodies, their wealth, their way of life.
Their “reform” is constant and forever.
YOU don’t need to be in office when the basic system IS YOU.
This is not suicidal, this is a huge success for them.
Think of what is happening to the fundamentals here, not the damn election.
Wake up!
The Left always operates this way. They always know what's better for us than we do.
As for the people who are imposing these mandates on us? Anything I could say would violate several of FR's posting guidelines.
I cannot believe that, as they have no honor.
"So the Democrats continue on course to draw their samurai swords and die with honor. While Im OK to see them do this (electorally and politically, of course), I fear that the price of seeing them go down will be higher than the United States of America can handle."
They'll be dead for at least a while, IMHO. They're zombies unaware of the damage that they're causing. Their arrogance leaves them truly clueless about human nature. They believe primary care docs will be fools or saints just for them. Their ignorance is quite amazing.
there is the simple fiscal reality. We just don’t have the money to pull off a major govt expansion. Look at China vs Obama during Copenhagen.
“Franky, I think the USA will collapse into bankruptcy and dissolution as did the USSR. It will all end then.”
And the sooner the better. Then hit the “Reset” button.
Actually the correct term is Seppaku.
With what has been set in motion by this and previous Admins, there is only one way to go, our financial path is unsustainable. But, there are many groups filling with patriotic Americans that are preparing themselves... Luck Always Favors The Prepared.
Alarm and Muster The Modern Day Call Tree for Emergency Preparation.
They get refreshed every four yearswith Collegians.
:-\
“...its the tipping point we have been waiting for.”
Correct.
We have them precisely where we want them, in control of everything except our minds. They have nowhere to hide. This is the left’s Waterloo.
Members of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party stuck with Hitler till the end.
They hoped to become Teutonic overlords and the vision caused them to go insane and pass insane legislation. This delusion killed Germany before Hitler did.
We need a second American-style Nuremberg tribunal, featuring swift punishment, to expose these fascists to Americans who are still not paying attention.
Any Republican running in 2010 should vow to vote to repeal this healthcare monstrosity before it takes effect. What’s been collected so far should be returned to the taxpayers or applied to the debt.
btt
