Thatcher was dealing with a lot worse in 1979, but look what she was able to accomplish in privatizing nationalized entities. British Airways, British Steel, Rolls-Royce; don't forget the big one: British Petroleum. I never lose hope, as I believe that all of us on Free Republic all have that hope and spunk that she had.

I plan to channel my efforts and energies into 2010 and 2012 victories and beyond. (Thatcher got three terms, proving that it wasn't a fad.)

Thank you. I hope everyone can look forward with determination and with hope. We will fight on, and unless I miss my guess, there will be a huge groundswell of action to literally replace the rot in our Congress and in the White House.
